Tactical planning and innovation are at present, essential elements of the aggressive and sustainability of a business. Conversely, framework situations demand the business to be structured to approval to a more and more complicated demand in an open structure, where the idea of quality is to be realized in all their dimensions as well as in continuous assessment.The transformation must be planned, according to the exhaustive investigation of the circumstances and the external and internal conditions that the organization functions.

The innovation produces effectiveness and efficiency in the processes of business production; information handling is essential. The technological, as well as development research course, produces a quality level that the business gets competitiveness and differentiation in the structure, even though these demands, noteworthy but essential investments. 3To study the system the analyst needs to do collect facts and all relevant information. The facts when expressed in the quantitative form are termed as data.

The success of this project is depended upon the accuracy of available data. Accurate information can be collected with help of certain methods/ techniques. These specific methods for finding information on this system are; Interviews, Questionnaires, Record View, and Observations. We shall use interviews since the information collected is quite accurate and reliable as we will clear and cross-check the doubts there itself. This method also will help gap the areas of misunderstandings and help to discuss future problems.

It requires a lot of time spared in writing the details in the paper and manually validates and maintains the records It can involve lots of search and time wastage.

Preserving and maintaining a large amount of data manually is a difficult task. The existing system is a manual one and there is a lot of issues like erroneous data, slow process, lack of security, etc. Finding out the final payment amount completely relies on the hotel manager and if he is absent, it takes a long time to find out the details during checkout and is prone to errors.The Proposed SolutionThe proposed system is to facilitate easy management and administration of a hotel with capabilities to do Booking or reservations of the rooms, Cancellation of the rooms, Cash billing, Room service, Restaurant service, Restaurant billing, Total billing, Travels arrangement, etc.

using the automated hotel management software.Scope and ConstraintsThe software product to be produced is a Hotel Management System which will automate the major hotel operations. The first subsystem is a Reservation and Booking System to keep track of reservations and room availability. The second subsystem is the Tracking and Selling Food System that charges the current room. The third subsystem is a General Management Services and Automated Tasks System which generates reports to audit all hotel operations and allows modification of subsystem information.

These three subsystems’ functionality will be described in detail in section 2-Overall Description. There are two en users for the HMS. The end users are the hotel staff (customer service representative) and hotel managers. Both user types can access the Reservation and Booking System and the Food Tracking and Selling System. The General Management System will be restricted to management users. Constraint description Internal/ External Mandatory /Optional Present/ FutureThe Hotel Management System’s objectives are to provide a system to manage a hotel that has increased in size to a total of 100 rooms.

Without automation, the management of the hotel has become an unwieldy task. The end-users’ day-to-day jobs of managing a hotel will be simplified by a considerable amount through the automated system. The system will be able to handle many services to take care of all customers in a quick manner. The system should be user appropriate, easy to use, provide easy recovery of errors, and have an overall end-user high subjective satisfaction.Fact-Finding TechniquesTo study the system the analyst needs to do collect facts and all relevant information.
