Philosophy, Politics and Economy

...? Unit Philosophy, Politics and Economy Task “U.S. federal government expansion between the beginning of the U.S. Civil War and the end of the Civil Right Era” The challenges that emanated after the American civil war forced the federal government to change its style of administration to a more participative style. The government began by expanding its operation to curb the challenges of governance that the federal authority was facing in America (Welch, 2010). The assumption was that a prominent authority is best for governance. Therefore, the government extended its presence as a measure to control the magnitude of the challenges that America was facing. This happened immediately after the end of the civil war. The expansion reached its... Unit...

...this in the table 1. These pennies with heads up represented the decayed atoms in one half-life. We also recorded the number of the pennies remaining in the box. Step three; we repeated the process in step two until all the pennies were removed from the box. The number of trial needed to complete the process was noted. In lab2 experiment, we started with eight pennies. In step one we threw all the 8 pennies all together. We counted and removed those with heads up as they represented the decayed nuclei. These values were recorded in the table 2. Step two; in the second step we continued throwing the pennies until one or no pennies were left. We also recorded in the table the number of throws that were required to one or...

...Picture lab1 1 Method Make a parallel circuit with the three resistors R1, R2, and R3 and connect them to a power source. Use an Agilent multi-meter or a multi-meter to take measurements. Conclusion From the experiment, resistors R2 and R3 have the same measurements since they are in a parallel circuit. The current passing through the three resistors R1, R2, and R3 is equal because they are in a series circuit. Picture 2 (lab2. 1/4) Aim The aim of the practical was to design a circuit using the NI multisim 13.0 methods and measure the voltage and current in the circuit. After, calculations based on the readings taken were to be done. Picture 3 (lab2. 2/3) Method The three resistors are to be connected in a series circuit using... the...

...Picture lab1 1) Methods Connect the conducting wires making the circuit to the source of power. Insert three resistors R1, R2, and R3 in the circuit, but on a parallel arrangement. With the help of a multi-meter and Agilent multi-meter, take the resistors readings for use in calculations later. Conclusion The experiment shows R2 and R3 have equal resistance since they are placed in a parallel arrangement. Currents recorded at resistors R1, R2, and R3 are equal because they are arranged in series. Picture 2(lab2. 1/4) Aim The experiment’s core aim is to design a circuit following NI Multisim 13.0 model and measure the current and voltage as directed the circuit diagram provided. Use the measurements for calculations....

...that decay on each trial = 200/9 = 22.22 = 22 coins. On the other hand, the graph of accumulated number of coins against number of trials is as shown in figure 2 below. Figure 2: Accumulated number decayed against trial. Results for Lab 2 Table 2 in the appendix shows results for Lab2. From the data Number of coins that decayed first toss = 405 coins The total number of coins thrown on the first throw = 50 * 16 = 800 coins Fraction of number of coins that decayed first throw 405/800 = 0.50625 To illustrate a normal distribution Table, 3 was used to plot a bar graph as shown below Figure 3: Shows a bar graph of Frequency against Number...

...Electronics Lab 2 0 Aim This experiment was set up to determine the functionality of transformers voltage regulation. It focused on measuring the impedance of the high frequency transformers and demonstrating the characteristics of the voltage (V) by the use of the voltage waveforms. The experiment finally showcased the efficiency of low frequency transformers. 2.0 introduction The reason behind conducting this practical was to comprehend the use of transformers, principles and how they are applied in our modern world. A transformer can be defined as a static machine which is used in many energy transformations and is composed of two or more electronic circuits that are linked using one magnetic circuit. Transformers... Lab 2 0 Aim ...
