Moreover, the agency has to be committed to the architecture followed within a project; for instance, architectural function has to be an independent entity within the agency allowing it to work beyond the agile team. Established EA practices like the different levels of architecture generate alignment between several lines of business that facilitate communication and agreement.b) The decision-making practices in EA needs to be modified in order to react to opportunities in an agile way since EA ensure quick translation of strategic decision on both tactical and operational levels (EAI2N, Bernus, Doumeingts, Fox & IFIP World Computer Congress, 2010).
