After the emergence of web every thing is changed, especially the business sector. Emergence of ecommerce has presented lot of new opportunities regarding the establishment of the business and extracting revenue in a new way. This analysis based report is about the detailed analysis of the case study (Turban & Volonino, 2008) “Google Is Changing Everything”, is going to provide a detailed and comprehensive analysis of the great emergence and of the Google and its innovative e-business strategy. Here I will assess and analyze the main technology structure employed, a better revenue generation policy and enhanced extensive business structure of Google. Google search Google is an intelligent search engine that offers its user a better facility regarding the web based search as well as a better promotion of related areas. As we search with the Google, then different related categories of the products and services appear on the right side of the main user interface. If we are searching for some food products then Google will intelligently offer a list of categories related to the desired or searched query. This is a great opportunity and facility that offers us to select and check products and services of the related categories. Google main advertisement pan is retrieved intelligently according to the user interest and desire. The intelligent search engine of the Google has the greater capability to assess the user interest and offer the related ads and promotions for the user easiness (Organicspam, 2007). I have tried lot of different options and observed that Google is offering a comprehensive way for presenting and showing the mostly matched results to the user interest and desire. Google spreadsheets If we talk about the spreadsheets the name of Microsoft’s Excel comes in mind. However Google is trying to redefine the basic concept of the Microsoft’s Excel spreadsheets. The main purpose of the Microsoft’s Excel spreadsheets is to arrange the data and organize in an appropriate way so that user can effectively handle and operate the data. However there are several limitations in the customary idea of the Microsoft’s Excel spreadsheets. For instance, Microsoft’s Excel spreadsheets are lacking in sharing of spreadsheet data to multiple users and clients (Shelly, Cashman, & Vermaat, 2005). In this regard the Google is going to redefine the customary practice of the spreadsheets and trying to integrate more enhanced and better features in these structures. The main goal of this transformation is to add the feature of data sharing. This aim of the Google regarding the sharing of the data is intended to make the overall operations visible and clear to distantly located clients. According to new idea Google is trying to deliver technologies to organize the world’s information as well as make it globally available and functional. This main transformation in the structure of spreadsheet is to add the different new features like simplicity, ease of use and data availability to multiple users. This new technology is free of cost to make it more popular among the public. This also adds the facility to share this structure to approximately ten users at the same time (Turban & Volonino, 2008). Enterprise search Google’s basic expectance is as a search engine. The goal of the Goggle is to add and enhance its main business structure. For this task Google is trying to add and restructure the overall operating structure of the Google search engine. A new example of such enhancement is the “Enterprise Searches”. This new technology is intended to offer the business and people a greater facility regarding the web based searches and data retrieval according to user desires and will. Google is trying to integrate more in the overall search engine structure. For instance, Google has offered a technology “Google Desktop”. This is also a modern and up-to-date type of searching facility that is intended to search using’ e-mail messages, contents of computer files, books, as well as even recently viewed Web pages. This is new type of operating system searching facility that is offering the user to search more areas as compared to customary windows searching facility that searches only the computer files and that is mostly through file name. This is a new idea of searching user data that is based on search for more and search for additional areas. This new idea is the foundation of the enterprise search. In this scenario Microsoft has taken the idea and added it into its new operating system “Longhorn” (Turban & Volonino, 2008). The main idea of the enterprise searches is to offer the users the facility to search in a deeper way. This offers them to search with the help of additional applications those support regarding the search more and in-depth files. This offers the capability and efficiency regarding the more detailed and well matched results. The application of enterprise searches would be incorporated by means of additional applications to enhance performance. An enterprise search discovers and allows specific content all through the enterprise to be indexed, searched, as well as shown to approve users (Turban & Volonino, 2008). BearingPoint, an IT consulting firm that has huge experience in the enhancement of the Google operational and working capabilities. Google has established partnership to the BearingPoint for this new technology accomplishment and development that is regarding the enterprise searches. Presently this new technology is limited to small number of industries and searching and retrieving the results only in those areas. In enterprise searches the search engine searches through the entire of the data sources at a corporation as well as index their contents (Turban & Volonino, 2008). Google revenue models Google is a major web based business that extracts main percentage of yearly revenue/income through the advertising revenue model. The main revenue models outlined in (Turban & Volonino, 2008) are Google AdSense, Google AdWords, and Froogle, these are the main Google advertising revenue models through which Google earns revenue. This is a pay per click advertising program. It is assessed that 90 percent of Googles revenue is produced through Google Ad-Words strategy (Youthdew, 2008). Googles revenue model intended at augmenting the traffic and visibility of its small business associates, reformation their promotion costs, making eligible their leads as well as assisting them to track returns on investment (DuNg, 2008). GoogleAnswers is also a new and latest advertising program that is Cost-per-Click model. It makes the major part of its revenue through permitting other website owners to promote on their search result pages or through placing these similar text advertisements or AdSenses on other websites foundational on relevance (DuNg, 2008). Google pay-per-click and Cost-per-Click revenue models are planned advertising programs of Google those are intended to permit the promoters to present ads to public (Organicspam, 2009). Google’s services for Kaiser Kaiser Permanente is the biggest nonprofit HMO or health maintenance organization company. The present membership of the Kaiser Permanente consists of about 9 million members. The Kaiser Permanente runs a website that comprises a huge knowledge about the medial. This website knowledge is going to double after seven years. This extensive augment in information and knowledge on the web offers a great challenge regarding the searching and viewing the right data and information on the web. Initially this website was developed to support the 50,000 members. However the number of user viewing the information and data on web is also increasing. This huge enlargement in the web data presents the problems regarding the data searching and viewing (Turban & Volonino, 2008). The main difficulty with the web based structure of Kaiser Permanente is extensive users and huge amount of data that make the overall operational structure more difficult. In the pervious few years the amount of web based users has also increased. In this situation the customary ways of web based searching are not feasible. The old ways of searching data and information from such a huge data bases of medial knowledge offer lot of difficulties (Turban & Volonino, 2008). Google can offer a better and enhanced solution to these problems through the Google enterprise search facility. This facility will offer a better solution to the augmenting data sizes and user numbers. The technology of the enterprise search will offer a better capability to search the Kaiser Permanente web resources in a better way. This technology will search and examine the stored data resources in a better way and according to the user needs and requirements. Google as a Web 2.0 company Baio (2005) has stated that “If Netscape was considered as the standard for Web 1.0, now presently Google is the standard for Web 2.0” (Baio, 2005): The beginning of Google was like a native web application, it was never packaged or sold, on the other hand delivered like a service, by means of directly or indirectly, customers paying, for the utilization of that service. None of the accessories of the previous software business are there. No planned software releases, immediately nonstop development. No need of sale or licensing, only utilization. It is actually an attractive system, still by means of Google is completely Web 2.0 however it is near its standards. Before, Google had a authentic blog (that itself motivated from Web 1.0 to 2.0), numerous services applied to web standards, or even directed the web into novel ways (like Google’s utilization of Ajax/ XMLHTTP on Google Maps as well as additional applications established it actually take off) (Baio, 2005). Google’s web search engine capability made inclusive sense on the web since day one. There is no doubt, up till now the Google has majority loyal users. Even Google does not use huge marketing techniques, but up till now Google is one of the main famous brands. Google the search engine tool is smart, profitable because it takes no fee, uncluttered, and light-weight, as well as user-centric. At the present, Google has established an enhanced approach and extensive technology that makes it better and workable. This standard of the Google shows the Web 2. Presently Google is entering into huge field of Web 2.0 through adding more facilities and technologies (Roach, 2009) and (Baio, 2005). Wireless activities Google is offering more and more facilities to its users and clients. The emergence of Google in each area and field is extensive. In scenario of the Wireless technology Google has established a vital position. A new link that is only targeting the wireless activities is www. Google.com/mobile. In this web link we have huge material for wireless technology lovers. Here we can find wireless availability of SMS, mobile businesses, Google Groups, Gmail, GOOG411, and YouTube. This area also allows the user to search the Maps and go through the different virtual areas. There are many options and facilities available at this wireless technology link. Here we can also find information and search for the wireless technologies. This link also contains the wireless groups those interact and discuss issues online via e-mail. This wireless technology link is also offering the facility to create custom pages by means of rich formats, as well as customize our page by means of our own graphics. Therefore we can say that Google has offers a lot much for the facility of the wireless technology seekers (Turban & Volonino, 2008). Conclusion In this research I have presented a detailed and comprehensive analysis of the Google and its new technology. In this report I have analyzed the revenue models through which Google earns the revenue. Then I have analyzed the new search facilities presented by the Google regarding the enhanced data and information search, which is acknowledges as enterprise search. Then I have analyzed the Google implementation and significance to Kaiser Permanente Company. This research has also outlined the new Web 2.0 technology implementation and standard compliance. This research has completely presented a detailed and comprehensive overview of the Google. I hope that this research will offer a better insight into the business and operational structure of the Google. Bibliography 1. Baio, A. (2005). Is Google Web 2.0?
