Advantages and Disadvantages of the Internet - Essay Example

The Internet has played a huge role in taking care of the defence controls of different organizations. The networking essentials are thus taken care of by the Internet in many business entities of the present times (December 1996). Another advantage of the Internet lies in the use of outsourcing work across different continents of the world. The disadvantages of the Internet are that pornography is rapidly increasing and there are more pornographic content websites available on the Internet than any other thing.

The kids and the middle-aged teenagers find it hard to get off the Internet once they log in. They devote less time to their studies and physical activities and more on the Internet, which is a very negative aspect of this technology tool. Another drawback of the Internet is that there are security issues with regards to computers on the network and viruses are easily transmitted through the Internet which spread malicious data on all the computers using this technology invention.
