To accomplish my dream, I want to pursue Master of Information System at University of San Francisco, on the basis of the unique qualities that I possess. Here, I want to describe my personal and professional that, I am sure, will qualify me for the said program. Originally, I am from Indonesia. I am a bilingual, coming from a multicultural background. My parents have always been very supportive in my educational and career goals.

I am the youngest of the three children, with one elder brother and one elder sister. I am the first in my immediate family who has earned an MBA degree. I have few years experience in financial industry, and now, I want to change my career path. It has been a great experience to be working in financial industry; however, I would like to expand my knowledge in Information system. As the world is heading toward technology and Information system day by day, I would like to help the technology sector in enhancing the e-business technology system.

In order to do so, I have to educate myself first. This is why I have decided to go back to graduate school, and pursue Master of Science in Information System. I have always been a very good student getting positions and certificates. My teachers and professors, at all times, considered me a student worthy of reward. I have attended numerous training courses and seminars which shows my passion for pursuing further knowledge regarding my field. I feel that I have enough knowledge and passion to show that I have a craze about going ahead in the business industry and contribute to the financial market.

I keep myself updated with market requirement. I keep on reading related journals, books and magazines and attend related seminars being held in my vicinity. I feel that I possess those special skills needed to fulfill the requirements for this course. I have always come up fresh, innovative and unique ideas. This enthusiasm is what pulls me to apply for this course. My best talents include good organization, discipline, carefulness, thoughtfulness, and getting things done in time. I like to put in my best efforts in whatever I do, and I never give up no matter what it takes.

I am good at photography, due to which I have volunteered in many photography events. I am proud to state that I am a very good learner, and pick up concepts quickly. I have a craze about technology, and keep myself updated with the latest tech information. Why I chose the University of San Francisco, is because it offered me the major in information system, which I wanted to avail and start my career in. The university is a private, top-tier institution, and offers globally recognized experiential education.

It offers highly qualified teachers. Moreover, as far as my professional objectives are concerned, I believe in ethical leadership. I believe in working collaboratively where everyone gets his share of profit through helping each other out. I possess exceptional analytical and evaluative skills. I believe in others’ competencies, and know how to motivate them to make the best use of their capabilities. I always volunteer to support others morally and physically in whatever means I can to improve the productivity of the business.

I believe in fairness. I know that customers must be given first priority. I consider them as the most important asset of any business. I am able to work independently as well as in teams, since I possess those special qualities that are required to manage teams and organize tasks while making every team member feel valued. I know how to establish my priorities and meet deadlines. These qualities will help me excel in my field, as I will be looking forward in managing work teams while doing research work, and be a part of a collaborative team where everybody shares his unique ideas.

I am sure I will prove to be a transformational leader when it comes to managing teams. Finally, I hope that the enthusiasm and fervor, which I possess for this degree, entitle me for getting admission and attaining valuable knowledge about what this course intends to teach. I want to become a good student of this university, and aim to work so hard as to bring good name to the university and myself. I hope the authorities will consider my personal statement and will grant me the honor of studying at their reputed university.
