Professional Career Action Plan Paper Introduction In one’s life choosing appropriate career path plays an important role in setting out professional goal and developing effective strategies. The path of appropriate career development by outlining a professional career plan assist individuals to evaluate themselves based on their strengths and weakness (Antoniu, 2010). With this particular notion of career, this particular essay will focus on highlighting the professional career plan through deriving personal strength and weakness. Furthermore, the discussion will also address and evaluate various skills and competence that are needed for further enhancement of professional and personal domain of any individuals. In this regard, it can be affirmed that in order to achieve the professional goals and objectives, one need to analyze the gap and execute the plan to mitigate the same accordingly. Goal 1: Work as an administrative in healthcare facility Goal 2: Setup and manage own healthcare business I. Self-Awareness Professional Strengths (I) Experience in working within St. Luke’s Medical Hospital as a volunteer basis, which ensure having brief understanding of the working environment of healthcare sector, which will further provide ability to make key decisions as well as delegating work or tasks through managing different medical and personnel of administrative department (II) Having professional Bachelor degree in Science Health Administration and Biology emphasis in Cell-physiology (III) During the tenure of degree course, I have significantly develop various skills and knowledge, which could assist me in managing nonprofit, private as well as government healthcare organization (IV) 3 year of summer tennis, coach Personal Strengths (I) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the talking and listening skills that will direct to recognize the problem needful assistance to communicate with patients and their family members for better understanding of their problems and provide effective treatment (II) I am also inherent with high level of emotional stability that will significantly help in dealing with the traumatic situations within the healthcare environment (III) Ability to have high level of empathy for other’s pain and suffering, which abets me to work for others with utmost dedication and care (IV) I understand the consequences of any small error in the healthcare field thus, I always tries to be flexible be enough to work in every circumstances (V) Problem solving skills and quick response in the critical scenarios Professional Weaknesses (I) One of the key professional weaknesses that I possess is having the less experience in working practically within the healthcare sector (II) Lack of having the degree of certification that has been quite important in ensuring my selection as an administrator in a healthcare organization (III) Lack of experience in negotiation, which is a key role of any healthcare administrator Personal Weaknesses (I) Easily becoming too friendly with people surrounding me that further create chances or high possibility to make bias decision in certain circumstances (II) In the likely manner, lower level of social awareness that also play a considerable role in healthcare sector is regarded as a major personal weakness of mine It can be comprehended from in-depth understanding that there are certain personal as well as professional strengths and weakness of mine that can significantly impact my ability to become a suitable candidate for working as a healthcare administrative and possess threat to my selection. In this regard, having good level of theoretical understanding of healthcare organization and its working management from educational course and internship program can be regarded as key professional strengths. On the other hand, lack of negotiation ability and professional certification were major professional attributes that I need to possess. Moreover, high level of intellectual skills including communication, interpersonal skills, empathy and flexibility are also key personal strengths in me. Nevertheless, too much of friendlessness, helpfulness for others and lack of social awareness can act as my personal weaknesses to an extent. II. Ideal Next Objective If such circumstances occur that, I am not able to get selected as a healthcare administrative in any healthcare organization, I will look for setting up my own healthcare center. In this regard, it can be affirmed that knowledge that I have significantly acquired during my academic scenario will help in developing effective strategies in this particular field.
