In preparing the training program, Peder Warren and his HR team should determine the training needs of each employee to increase its effectiveness (Lawson, pg. 33).

Orientation and Training program outline for PAATP

The following should be accomplished during the three months training of new employees:

  1. New employees will cover the following items during the orientation stage;
  1. Organizational background
  2. Organizational hierarchy
  3. Job description
  4. Human Resource Policies
  5. Health and safety procedure
  6. Question/answer session
  1.  The first section of the training will look at the elements of the accounting system in particular analysis of quantitative accounting problems.
  2. The second section will cover the basic computer skills required in the accounts department.
  3. The final section will look at the human relation and conduct including;
  1. Teamwork
  2. Organizational Hierarchy
  3. Relationship between different departments
