The court made a decision in favor of the plaintiff, but afterwards, the Court of Special Appeals overruled the decision.
Rationale: The court made the decision after allowing a discussion of the whole situation that the plaintiff was facing in order to know whether the distress was severe. On the basis of the entire situation and circumstances, it was evident that the distress was severe because the plaintiff had a lot of problems in his workplace that made it very difficult to work.
