The current state of research confirms human resource executives as the most important asset on company boards (Renckly & Renckly 301). HR executives (and outstanding HR executives, in particular) know most about their employees, employee relationships personnel law, benefits, diversity, compensation, personnel policies, and related employment issues (Renckly & Renckly 301).
