The Five Important Parts of the Immigrant into the USA The five important parts of the immigrant There are five important parts thatan immigrant peasant has to take when planning to move to USA. These are systematic parts, which require the immigrants to involve themselves before they start their journey to the US. The parts are,Leaving home and travel document acquisitionMost of the immigrant peasants that move to the USA to join either their families or their friends. The first step in organizing the movement is acquiring the relevant travel documents and the tickets.

The immigrants have to book for reservations in the major shipping lines through the appropriate travel agents who operate in their regions. The passport is obtained from the officials in home area of the immigrant early in advance as required by the immigration law. The immigrant also takes some medical tests and from that, point forward produces a medical exam card before boarding the means meant for the travel (Handlin, 2002).The actual journeyAfter getting the proper travel documents, the immigrant peasants have to travel, and the actual traveling involves a travel vehicle.

The immigrants then produce the documents at the terminals, and he or she is allowed to board the vehicle. The boarding is determinant by the validity of the documents presented to the travel agency and the shipping company before the journey starts.InspectionOn arrival, the medical inspectors at the arrival terminal carry out some inspections to make sure that all the immigrant peasants are safe and can freely interact with the citizens of the USA. The inspection is usually done on a specified quarantine area and the test done is known as quarantine inspection.

The test mostly stresses on inspecting contagious diseases that might affect the health of the USA citizens (Handlin, 2002).The immigrants without any knowledge of English are provided with an interpreter who links the communication between them and the doctors. Those found with any signs of infections are directed to a separate room for further examinations.Settling in the chosen state. After entering the USA, the immigrants who pass the medical test are moved to their selected states. Here, they unite with friends and their families.

After settling, the immigrants settle and find something constructive to do and earn a living for themselves (Handlin, 2002). The movement is facilitated by some taxi companies that operate from the bus terminus; the settlement is done while adhering to the state laws and USA federal laws.Finding and settling for a jobThe settled immigrant then finds a good job for himself or herself that helps them raise some cash for their personal and family upkeep. These jobs range from simple casual jobs to some white color jobs for the highly qualified immigrants.

Job application for the immigrants is usually done by selected agencies that have links with the USA job market (Handlin, 2002). These are the five major parts that an immigrant needs to take part in from the time he or she decides to travel from a village in a local country to the United States of America. Each immigrant has to follow these steps for him or her to be considered as a legal immigrant in the USA.ReferencesHandlin, O. (2002). The uprooted. Philadelphia: University of Pennsylvania Press.
