However, today with the major advancements in technology, a lot of jobs do not call for physical energy. This means that both women and men work well without difficulties. However, it is observed that even in these jobs, women are still underrepresented. I agree with the author that there is need to increase the diversity in the workplace by having an equal representation of both genders. It is true that both men and women have their biological differences, this also influences their perspectives and this can be tapped to get better performance at the work place. Women are also the care givers and homemakers; this should not be used as an excuse of not giving them jobs. However, I tend to disagree with the author that men should not be obligated to support their spouses. This is because the systems that already exist favor the male gender and removal of spousal support would only make the situation of the women worse. There is a need to have a complete overhaul of the current system and ensure that women get equal opportunities as the men and they would be able to support themselves. The salaries also need to be harmonized because you would observe in many instances women are given lower wages and salaries despite performing similar tasks to their male counterparts.

... Compare and contrast Spring and Fall There is a certain charm and quality to a Spring day that is missing from the season of Fall. There is the feeling of lightness and life during the months of spring, it is apparent in the scent of lilacs and can be seen in the myriad of flowers coming into bloom and plants putting on their verdant dresses of green. The warmth in the air is tempered occasionally by a cooling breeze and the sounds of birds singing their songs of creation abound. Even the word “Spring” has a sense of liveliness, energy and effervescence. Phrases like “Spring Ahead” come to mind as positive reinforcements of this season. The word “Fall” on the other hand (need I say more), connotes perhaps a “Fall from Grace... .” This...

...How to Break a Bad Habit Bad habits have adverse effects on people’s lives. Unlike other mistakes, these are repeated constantly. Bad habits are hard to break; however, they must be broken for one to live a meaningful life. People with bad habits rarely realize this. Before breaking a bad habit, a person must first realize they have a bad habit, and then show willingness to move away from it. A person may break a bad habit by practicing abstinence. This is appropriate for habits such as drug abuse, which cause physical harm. When a person abstains from a bad habit, an immediate turn is taken on the bad habit, and a stop is put on the bad habit.
