During his campaigns, John F. Kennedy promised an improvement in global relationships which would ensure better grounds for exports and imports. He also made promises of boosting medical care in the country and putting an end to hunger and poverty. He swore to support the voting clause in the constitution which gave the voters the right to elect their senators for a term of 6 years. John F. Kennedy was also determined to eradicate racial discrimination and enhance the system of education in the United States. John F. Kennedy met most of the promises he made during his campaigns.

As the President of the United States, he promised to boost the Medicare system in the country. He met this promise through the Peace Corps program which also improved the education system, agriculture, and construction mechanisms in the country. He also managed to implement the Civil Rights Act of 1964 during his short term in the presidency. As promised during his campaigns, he reduced discrimination against races. This made the blacks access schools and parliament. They also got opportunities of being elected to the position of judges. John F. Kennedy managed to maintain international diplomacy which ensured the promotion of peace through international correlation.

During his reign, he managed to prevent the occurrence of nuclear war between superpowers. However, John F. Kennedy died prematurely before meeting all his campaign promises. It is therefore presumable that given the opportunity to serve his full term, he would have accomplished all his campaign promises. This made his assassination heroic in the eyes of Americans.
