Download file to see previous pages His criticisms of how Roosevelt was handling this depression and his constant fight for the minority to be given fair wages made him more popular then FDR. This was even included in his principles for the National Union for Social Justice which stated that “I believe that every citizen willing to work and capable of working shall receive a just, living, annual wage which will enable him both to maintain and educate his family according to the standards of American decency.”
All in all, the greatest threat from Coughlin to Roosevelt was because he was a priest and hence majority of the people believed and trusted his doctrines, criticisms and ideologies more than they did that of President Roosevelt. Coughlin was constantly attacking and questioning the faith of Roosevelt through his weekly radio speeches and hence inflicted doubt on the American citizens about their President. This proved to be a major political bow and setback for the ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

...Discussion post due: Discussion posts: Marsha Jackson Response discussion I agree with Marsha Jackson about pain. Pain is a miserable emotional and sensory encounter related to potential or actual damage of a tissue. It is a complicated physiological procedure that is categorized according to its strength, its mechanism, clinical context, and its duration (Sinatra, Jahr & Watkins-Pitchford, 2010). Acute pain refers to the pain that results from injury of the body tissues and the beginning of nociceptive stimuli at the point of the tissue is destroyed. This pain occurs for a short period and begins when the beneath pathologic procedure has stopped. Acute...

...Response Response The transfer of the assets to a single US trust does not make a difference if Noel or Marsha dies first. Such is because the trust is created for possession by Cynthia when both parents die and not when one parent dies. This is because the tax that is applied by the U.S. government on residents and nonresidents is the same on all the assets. Such an answer is the same if Marsha was a US citizen since there is no discrimination in the process of tax application to U.S. and non U.S. citizens. As such, the federal tax department levies the same tax rates for the assets of both residents and non residents in U.S (Matthew Bender and Company, 2012). If the creation of the trusts occurs less than 3 years before... Response The...

...Discussion post: Response paper in nursing due: Response to Christopher Johnson’s acutebronchitis and Pneumonia post I agree with Christopher Johnson that acute bronchitis and pneumonia are bacterial infections of the respiratory tract. The symptoms are similar but with a few differences. For example, acute bronchitis will present a fever of 101 degrees Celsius or greater. Treatment for pneumonia includes; empirical antibiotics or cough expectorants. While for acute bronchitis, the treatment is directed to symptoms management (Buttaro, Trybulski, Bailey, & Sandberg-Cook, 2013). Response to Peng Anderson’s acute bronchitis vs. pneumonia post I agree with Peng Anderson...

...Discussion post due: I agree with Peng Anderson that patient IM suffers from a peptic ulcerdisorder. The clinical manifestations of an ulcer may persist for a few days, weeks or even months. The signs normally disappear to re-occur later without any recognized cause (Brunner & Smeltzer, 2010). Other signs include bleeding, heartburn (pyrosis), diarrhea, constipation, and vomiting. From the perspective of medical management, the patient is enlightened that the condition is controllable. The peptic ulcer is treated with antibiotics to eliminate H. pylori. The antibiotics prevent recurrence rate compared to other therapies. The aim of medical management is to remove H. pylori and to control gastric acidity....

...Discussion Post due: Kimberly Viruet response I agree with Kimberly Viruet, to determine the cause of genitourinary complications requires a thorough investigation of the patient’s medical history. From the history, the physician may then know if it a side effect of the medication or related to other underlying illnesses. Also, the physician will be required to check for any abnormalities in the pelvic region. The physical examination also includes scans of the pelvis, bladder and urinary tract to determine if there is any sign of infection or trauma (Hooton, 2012). The diagnosis can then be confirmed by a lab test which involves either a urine dipstick, urinalysis or urine culture. Other tests include...

Discussion Post the presentation of the speaker is that he maintains facial expression which are used to mean and imply different things. For instance, during the times of humor, he contorts his face in a friendly way therefore engaging the audience during the light moments. On the other hand, this presentation is non-interactive because the speaker seems to be static and stand in one place in most of the session (Robinson & Creativity, 2006). Secondly, the fact that the speaker, Sir Ken Robinson uses a commanding and fast voice reduces the chances of people or the audience in enjoying the presentation. Comparatively, I would encourage a person to use the presentation skills of David Gallo because they help the audience to be engaged and focused...

...Discussion post due: Protecting human research participants Discussion one I agree with PengAnderson, about protecting human research participants. The course is fascinating and has helped me to comprehend the major role of IRB. IRB functions by making sure that federal guidelines are adhered to in research proposals. Specifically, the IRB ascertains that a researcher does not go against the human rights of participants (Fain, 2013). My workplace organization The IRB in the organization represents a reasonable amount of diversity regarding scientific field, professional background, race, gender, and ethnicity. In addition, it involves non- scientists as well as scientists. As indicated in the regulations and guidelines issued... by the...

...Discussion Post Due: I agree with the post by Peng Anderson on the importance of diabetes self-management education DSME. Traditionally, diabetic patients were educated about self-management through programs conducted in a classroom setting with the health professionals as the tutors. The main topics covered in DSME includes adherence to medication, monitoring blood sugar and control and nutrition and exercise. Recently, other methods of reinforcing DSME have been used including text messages. Common outcome measurements of DSME include HbA1c and tests of medication adherence. Some of the popular themes used in DSME include the Health Belief Model and Social Cognitive Theory. The author...

...Discussion posts due: Peng Anderson discussion posts I agree with Peng Anderson about the diabetes problem statement and the purpose of the research. According to a report by the American Diabetes Association (2015), diabetes prevalence in 2012 was 9.3% of the population. At least 1.25 million adults and children suffer from type 1 diabetes. The report also suggests that in the year 2010, diabetes was the seventh leading cause of death in the US. This was evident from the 69,071 death certificates listing the disorder as the source of death. Diabetes leads to progression of comorbid conditions and complications such as retinopathy, cardiovascular, nephropathy, neuropathy,...
