His cultural background may acquire him the benefit of the doubt for being fair in his inclinations about the subject matter however there are other matters that would still need to be considered. For instance, could there be a possibility that the concentration camps and gas chambers been altered to support the claims of the modern Germans? No one may be able to prove what really happened but thinking things over, what could be stronger evidence against the testimonies of prisoners who survived the Holocaust?
