The book explores the causes and effects of global warming and the techniques which major players use in blind folding the public on the reality. According to the authors, the industry uses media in manipulating information on global warming (Hoggan and Littlemore 6). The manipulation makes the public insensitive on the causes and the adverse effects of the problem. Using the media, the industry players have denied the involvement of human activities in causing climatic change. Furthermore, they indicate that the change in world climate is not a bad phenomenon and the public should not panic on the alterations (Hoggan and Littlemore 8).

Concerning the submission carefully, one notes that the industry players cast a dark cloud on the public interest and opinion.
