As per research, it can be said that among the four news sources, USA Today newspaper is the one that is providing wide range of subjects and stories to the consumers. However, other news sources have also provided a competitive analysis of news and discussion but variable updated information cannot be important than in-depth analysis of news subjects. The online version of USA Today also provides an updated platform likewise news channels. The newspaper ownership is in the hands of Gannett Company. It should be noted that the newspaper is quiet neutral in its approach of sharing information. There has been very minimal number of biased information which was also clarified by the newspaper authorities. The information regarding the funds which are donated by the newspaper media organization USA Today has proven that it does not support any political party[Huf13]. This could be regarded as one of the reasons behind unbiased information. However, Fox news channel is a news source which has marked its name in a number of controversies for presenting biased information. It seems like the channel is involved in the propaganda against Democratic Party. It can be done because there is a lot of donation which is given by the news channel for the programs which are initiated by Republicans. In addition, CBS radio as a news source has not been involved in any biased coverage of subjects and events but it has seemingly fell short in meeting its goal of covering each and every aspect of news. There are some news stories that have been reported to be missed by the news source. Thus, it cannot be considered as a solely credible news source because of entertainment provision nature as well. Finally, twitter is one of the social media networks where politicians have been able to share their views about different parties. People can actually communicate with the politicians allowing in-depth information about the political actions or stunts. The funding is private for twitter which makes it a non-biased medium because it comes under the category of online news forum. Overall, it can be well stated that newspaper by USA Today has managed to provide neutral news coverage of different beats and stories[Sch13]. Analysis and Culminating Activity A poll was conducted to evaluate as to what sources people make use of in order to gain information about elections. The number of participants who took the poll or answered the ten questions included 3 housewives, 4 students, 1 social worker and 2 officials. As per the poll, it was noted that people who are socially active or professionally working for organizations have been using multiple sources for gaining information. These sources included social media networking where each news magazines have their updating team informing about up-to-date information round the clock. Other than that, newspapers and online forums also allow them to understand about the candidates that they wanted to vote for. However, it was marked that housewives knew very less about the updated information since they had no interest in politicians. One of the housewife stated that government changes but the conditions of economies remain same[Dav13]. In addition, the students marked that there is so much of extremism when it comes to election. People may place trolls and memes online that can give a very negative impact on any election campaign of the politicians. This has affected viewpoints of a lot of people. Herein, the participants noted that newspapers have played a very responsible role in presenting the correct image of the politicians in front of the people. People are more likely to believe the newspapers rather than the memes and online forum. Another reason is reliability of the information which is taken under strict consideration by the news channels and enterprises. In case they are more likely to forward any biased agenda then they will be answerable to the person or political parties[Una06]. 3: Assignment Politicians Analysis: Voting Records: In the two past government elections, it has been noted that the voting is rather done flexibly in United States as people are quiet open for letting new agendas and mandate. However, the fact remains that republicans have always been taking highest toll in fame, adherence, voting and international recognition[Kev]. Controversial Czars: Among controversial Czars in the present times include Cass Sunstein who completely rejects the second amendment has given clear support to gun spread for strategic manner that ultimately failed. Culminating Activity The politician that I have selected for the analysis is Senator Dave Cogdill. He took the responsibility of the office for six years in the California State Assembly. It was his approach to settle down the working of budget committee, agriculture and more. I believe and affirm that as a politician, his ideologies were very correct and needed to be followed by others as well. It was because he was more focused to work for economic development. As I am a citizen of Fresno, CA, I do understand the need of economic development which can allow US to undergo fast paced development. Senator Dave Cogdill has made all his effort to prove the need of economic stability which can be brought my investment and maintaining budgets in such a manner that it allows proper allocation of the resources. Moreover, He has raised his voice for cutting down taxes for providing satisfaction and feasibility to the American citizens. This is the aspect of relief for which every politician needs to work closely with each political party. Public safety is yet another ideology that has been spread by him because at the moment American citizens are under great threat. In order to provide a freedom full environment, it is surely a very important role to be played by the American government.
