This Company therefore works hand in hand with Health Insurance association of America. Due to this prestige and availability of finances, Apple employees have good health cover which guarantees quality services in the best medical firms in America and all over the world. Pensions are sums of money paid to an individual regularly in fixed terms after retirement. Retirement plans in United States collaborate with human resource of all companies to ensure that no employee retires without pension. Pensioners are guaranteed both defined benefit and defined contribution pensions. Apple offers pensioners other benefits apart from pension for instance Equity within United States, Fixed and timely income and foreign equity. Paid off times are hours designated for employees to use whenever need arises. These hours are used mostly for sick days, schedule time off and extended absence off. Apple has well equipped gym where employees are free to exercise after job or lunch time and has reduced health related costs. Question 3 A partner for public service is a non-profit organization whose main duty is to ensure employees work according to set standards. Its mission is to shape the way civil servants deal with government duties. Strategic planning is process of integrating current and future goals of an organization by using right process which leads to innovation. Strategies help in creating a nexus between human resource development policies and goals of the organization. Planning project teams are individuals chosen to spear head the formulation and implementation of projects. Team members need to understand vividly the issues affecting their group for easy identification of solutions. Strong planning project is made by members who co-operate to avoid competition among them. Adequate communication is paramount to policy making since team members need to talk to clients especially in non-profit organization where team members go out to meet clients. Division of labor among groups should be made mandatory for quality and effective delivery of results. Strategies for a sturdy planning team project are for instance creating positivity, trusting each other, setting good objectives and empowering the team. Planning need to treat all members with equity to bestow belief and trust that enhances full delivering of results. Time management is fundamental for timely delivery of resources especially in non-governmental organizations which serve under-privileged people. Conversely, following the right schedule leads to ultimate delivery of desirable planning goals. Review of relevant inputs involves identifying resources which can be used in order to achieve solid planning goals. Inputs are for instance reviewing strategic plans, retirement plan, recruitment plans and stakeholder views. Review of relevant inputs is fundamental in operations of non-governmental organizations because it determines the outcome of non-profit organizations missions. Managers’ engagement is desirable in developing of an effective human resource plan. This provides an opportunity for them to witness the challenges faced by team members thus aid in decision making and funding of the project. Managers are superior to human resource and therefore, help in implementation of decisions. Managers’ involvement in decision making is good because they are always answerable to donors in Non-governmental organizations. In every planning process, there are challenges that if not quickly addressed may lead to failure of the process for instance, laziness of team, misappropriation of funds, unaccountability and competition among team members. Lasting solutions should be put in place to avoid this down fall for example allocating every member duty, check thoroughly financial expenditure and giving room for mutual decision making. Non-profit organizations deal with challenges society faces and the only way to succeed is through finding solutions to these problems. Drafting a plan is process of organizing resources and activities necessary for achieving a goal. This process commands critical thinking because inputs must be lower than outputs. Drafting of a good plan requires experts since it provides a lead way for attainment of goals. Non-governmental organizations have many projects to implement within a financial year and this needs a plan for its timely completion. Non-governmental organization in this reference is Compassion International; it is an organization helping homeless and orphaned children in the world. This organization aims at ensuring number of suffrage among destitute children is reduced. Its aids include provision of food, shelter, clothing and education. Question 4 During workforce planning, models are instrumental in highlighting essential aspects needed for systematic completion of projects. Models are usually simplified for quick comprehension and analysis of matters under investigation for instance can be tabulation of data, spreadsheets, and demand and supply workforces. Models guide the operations of planning through designating time and resources needed. Workforce models are different depending on departments and this needs all employees to be partisan in its formulation to avoid mix up during working. Workforce need to have sound understanding of the model for quick decision making and avoid misuse of the model. Objectives are aims which an organization seeks to achieve and this can be achieved through frequent analysis and reviews. Organizations have many departments with diverse objectives therefore each department tussles to achieve their targets within the right time. Reviews are mutually consented on by human resource and workforce since it entails improving on existing objectives. Changing objectives need more resources and time therefore it is a crucial process in decision making and organization prosperity. Failure to achieve objective is indication that company did not fully accomplish its mandate and this can lead to loses. Workforces are employees of an organization who play key role in ensuring duties are accomplished within prescribed time. They are driving force for achievement of set goals and targets, formulation and implementation of policies, and more so engage in production of goods and services. For effective and efficient achievement of goals, qualified workers should be hired to ensure services provided are quality and proficient. Achievement of present targets requires present employees to be hard working and time conscious since this determines the future. Ultimately, the present determines the future so failure to hit targets leads to losses which affect the future of the organization and this creates gaps which competitors can take advantage of the firm and out-compete the firm out of the market. Whenever gaps are witnessed, early replacement is necessary to avoid future shortcomings which may lead to deficits. Human resource encourages growth and expansion of organizational goals therefore, this is fundamental to avoid bureaucratic running of operations. Strategies should gear towards the achievement of outputs that are necessary for development of skills and knowledge in the organization. Development comprises of identifying new employees, training unskilled labor and identifying potential managers. These work forces are taken through development programs for instance training and this result in committed and professional workers, skilled labor and competent managers in the future. Conversely, development involves setting sound policies and regulations that cover all workers vertically to avoid favoring few and neglecting majority. Human resource motivation through giving incentives, paid vacations and rewards encourage employees to deliver beyond their current potential increasing profits. Evaluation is critical determination of advantages and significance of a subject following a prescribed procedure aimed at realizing objectives and goals. Moreover, monitoring is process of observing changes that may occur for a set period of time. Plans are best achieved through frequent evaluation and monitoring and this gives a niche for adjustment which leads to positive realization of goals. Evaluation is usually conducted at the end of financial year to ascertain progress of company whereas monitoring is done during operations to gauge work progress to avoid unforeseen circumstances. Evaluation and monitoring are dependent processes which are employed in all organizations by human resource and managers to ensure work progress as expected. Works cited Hays, Steven W, Richard C.
