They also influence government through citizen’s attitudes to support their points. They usually represent closely related set of apprehensions. Louis Hart’s contribution for American exceptionalism is valuable for two reasons. Primarily, he had correctly predicted changes of circumstances in United States that would enable socialism grow in status. Lastly, observations made by Louis Hart pointed to the central defect of communalist theory for instance that the harassment of workers do not come from a free-market domination of capital, as claimed by socialists (Hess, 2000). The oppression of workers comes from remnants of feudalism that marked themselves in the monopolization of natural resources. Throughout Louis Hart’s contribution, an individual sees the biases of a socialist mind, through the word choice when he does comparison of the feudal organization of two different organizations in Chicago. Although Louis Hart interpretations show some bias, his explanations have the taste made by a genuine scholar. Even where he landed his descriptions with socialist analysis, he was set to collect facts and make a report (Hess, 2000). The general characteristics of Americans also play an important role towards no interest in socialism. Such characters include not being opposed to the capitalist system. They also think that they are Gods chosen people meaning that an American associates more frequently with the country greatness. I believe that the second observation made by Louis Hart is more persuasive compared to the previous one. This is because in his explanation he says that oppression of workers comes from remnants of feudalism that has resulted to monopolization of natural resources.
