During the emperorship of Constantine, laws were framed in such a manner that people got an idea of intelligence as specified under divinity. The essay intends to present various instances during the emperorship of Constantine by highlighting his ideology, authority and the important role played by him for Christianity and Roman churches.

Constantine was the Roman emperor who lived with the blessings of mankind and was always greeted with praise. He was known to have inherited the dignity of Caesars. His emperorship was referred to as a perfect and obviously an extraordinary one (Richardson, I. I). Emperorship of Constantine God never tolerated tyranny. He always was in favor of pious princes like Constantine. The emperor led a godly life, for which he definitely deserves praise, and became an example for mankind. Under his rule and authority, the empire witnessed and controlled the biggest stretch of nations. It is believed that god granted him with victory for being such an obedient servant. His fortune did not suffer any disruption or bad luck and was blessed by god till the end of his life (Richardson, I.VI). Constantine was a caring leader and looked after his people like a guardian.

The entire nation led a peaceful life throughout his reign and was encouraged to worship God. He was never involved in destruction of churches, unlike other leaders. He was regarded as a man of quality, gifted with immense intelligence.

Overall, he was considered incomparable (Richardson, I.XIX). Under Constantine, the people of the kingdom enjoyed the freedom to roam about in imperial palaces. He truly was the friend of God (Richardson, I.LII). People fully celebrated the occasion when Constantine emerged as the supreme ruler. He was given the name of victor emperor by people assuming that it was god himself who had granted this victory to Constantine. As Constantine emerged to be the sole ruler, people got rid of authorities that had brought sufferings and miseries for them (Richardson, I.XIX). The emperor always gave full credit to God for his power and prosperity.
