The journal insisted that the Americans were in another century where myths and misconceptions were unheard of. Other topics discussed there after included such things as the issue of missionaries. This was during the 1997 when many missionaries spread across the globe in order to spread the gospel. The missionaries were said to be people who had different objectives. The journal claimed that the slaves required compensation of their property.1 This is because their property was destroyed during the process of acquiring slaves. This explains threat slaves became highly mistreated during the time of capturing them. The other way in which slaves experienced mistreatment was during the time when they were working in plantations. The journal explained that slaves had rights that required observation like the other people. Therefore, the journal voiced the rights of the slaves who faced mistreatment from their masters. Therefore, the journal mobilized the colonialists to stop the activities of mistreating the slaves. Quoting the journal in February 2006, the journal talked about the topic of sovereignty of the US. This meant that the US had the power to exercise its authority within its area of jurisdiction. The same way, colonies did not have sovereignty over their territories. Global commerce is further explained as the increased trading among countries. This explains that the world of today is a small village where everyone tries to out do the other. The current world requires that each country shave its national language. The availability of the same languages requires that the citizens of a certain country lead to uniformity. This uniformity further triggers peace within a country. A country that has unity among its citizens ought to have peace with other countries. A recent journal published in October 2010 tackles current issues such as prostitution and l ailments like the HIV&AIDS.
