Additionally, this role gave me an opportunity to interact with nurses, managers, physicians, patients, and administrators. In the process, it sharpened my interpersonal communication skills on one-on –one basis. One of the achievements I attained while serving at this position is that, I successfully organized a charity walk for breast cancer in the community that involved, the community center, Trinity Hospital and the public. Experience and skills in implementation, planning and evaluation of health promotion project We undertook assignments at the university level revolving around the implementation of a health project. In this case, the various study modules that were employed in class clearly demonstrated how gathering information, data and statistics are vital tools of planning. Additionally, the experiments that were conducted in class showed us how we can plan, implement and evaluate a health project based on the analysis criterion (Monash, 2015). Moreover, the class modules also worked with a stipulated number of principles and tools that gave us the experience of handling a health project. Through various class works, am also aware that, the primary purpose of screening most especially on an asymptomatic individual is to detect any early picture and evidence of abnormality so as to implement protective and preventive approaches that will in the end provide a better health outcome. Additionally, through my interaction with health professionals and the community at large, it is universally believed that early cancer diagnosis is better and beneficial and therefore, mammography and screening is bound to be the most effective preventive approach in health.
