The researcher elaborated on the threats to the study's validity and expounded on biases of the study likely to erupt. “Data that are not organized are overwhelming. Without some structure, even broad trends are hard to discern" (Polit & Beck, 2014, p.215).

The interpretations consider the limitations cited by the researcher. When picking samples data organization was considered. “… two units who met the inclusion criteria constitute the study participants” (Polit & Beck, 2014, p. 473).

The evidence given was the numeric data collected from the pick sample. The participant in the sample provided rigid support for the results.” …have never used it despite its availability and common use as submitted by a nurse in one of the wards” (Adejumo &Ingwu, 2010, P. 474).

In an event where results were mixed up or ambiguous, an explanation was offered (Adejumo & Ingwu, 2010, p.475).

The findings from the study were explained in light of other previous studies. “This is in support of Watson (19), who maintained that unless a nurse learns from experience, the learning is not good (Adejumo & Ingwu, 2010, p.476).

In some instances, the researchers made some indefensible spontaneous inferences. “… which does not make it scientific and as such lacks basis for clinical decision making”  (Adejumo &Ingwu, 2010, p.476).

The rationales for rejecting alternatives were defective in that research involves a search of information from a variety of sources”. In hypothesis testing, researchers assume that the null hypothesis is true and then gather evidence to disprove it” (Polit & Beck, 2014, P. 230).

 The interpretation accounted for the precision of the results. “In our study, the probability of obtaining a value of 71.0% female by chance alone was less than 1 in 10,000” (Polit & Beck, 2014, p.230).

The researchers pointed out the differences between practical and statistical significance. “…they are not well-suited for testing actual research hypotheses about the absence of relationships between variables or about equivalence between groups” (Polit & Beck, 2014, P. 258).

Some unwarranted generalization was evident in the results of the research. “Although it is difficult to depend on the rating of nurses based simply on their perception, success or failure of WFGs in the prevention of heel PUs is difficult to ascertain” ( Adejumo &Ingwu, 2010, P.477).

The researchers gave an overview of the study’s effect on future nursing research. “Suggestions for future research include determining the effect of WFGs on heel pressure sore prevention involving teaching hospitals more in resource-limited settings and using experimental or quasi-experimental design (Adejumo &Ingwu, 2010, P.478).

The researchers made several recommendations out on the findings of their study. For instance. “…that nurses need to make a deliberate and personal effort to update their knowledge in current standard and practices in the area of heel PU prevention” (Adejumo &Ingwu, 2010, P.478).

The recommended improvements are quite appropriate to improve the current situation of the nursing profession. “Your task as a reviewer is to develop your interpretation and assessment of methodologic problems, to challenge conclusions that do not appear to be warranted, and to consider how the study’s evidence could have been enhanced”. (Polit, & Beck, 2014, p.230).

The research was not exhaustive since some crucial implications were neglected. “Therefore, knowledge of pressure-relieving aid, which could be gained easily and be of benefit to patients is being left out in the training program of health care providers, while patients suffer with the problem and are charged high fees for other methods that are more costly” (Adejumo & Ingwu, 2010, P. 478).
