Care Of OEF/OIF Veterans With PTSD Thesis ment: Insider action research approach is a traditional method of doing research.Introduction Recent studies on the prevalence of the PTSD among the OEF/OIF VA users tend to show its rise over time. In a recent survey, the rate at which the mental disorders were diagnosed was observed to be on a steady rise. Two studies proved to have similar results in line with the use of VA in general medication services in treating the OIF/OEF veterans. The studies reveal that diagnosis of the PTSD has a greater chance of general medical diagnosis and greater primary care service utilization.

The researcher will use a qualitative approach that will include the use of primary and the secondary sources to research the topic. For instance, there is a vast literature on studying VA health services. They are in line with the utilization of the OIF/OEF veterans that are developed and further documented in patterns of services that are used for general medical and health care of mental issues. The understanding, however, lead to challenges such as stigma, care, and treatment preferences.

In researching for this study, there is a need to base on the continuum of the positiol in action research. The researcher will play the role of an insider in the setting of this study. The setting will be of help, as it will maintain clarity necessary for thinking about issues of research validity, as well as the ethics. Traditionally, the action researchers were seen as the outsiders in line with the changing agents (Marti, 2008). It was assumed that the central issue was to involve insiders in a research to a greater extent in the traditional research.

With inside researcher, action approach is widely used in studying of applied fields that often prepare graduates to work in collaboration in addressing areas that are used internationally. Inside research action, approach will help the researcher to work on this research vastly. References Martí, J. (2008, September).
