The human skin serves a major purpose in the body and, thus, cannot and should not need to be separated from the body. An obvious reason for this is the level of pain associated with the removal of the skin. Removal of the skin from the body leaves the body organs exposed to the environment and this leads to lethal infection because of the toxic matter or pathogens that exist in the atmosphere.The skin also provides pigmentation for the body, which means it alternates the level of dryness or oiliness of one’s outer body surface.

The skin in humans is also a guard for the body against extreme temperatures and other dangers, an insulator and a waterproof layer. It protects the body against bacteria either (Piaget, 1970).The skin of a human being can be of a different colour, which defines one’s race and is a means of genetic adaptation of a body to the intensity of sun rays in different climatic zones of the planet. It is impossible to separate the skin from a body and expect the same level of functionality. In any case, there is no human body that can function without this useful organ.
