Enactment of Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (1986) that enabled people to receive immediate medical attention without the practitioners considering an individual’s ability to cater for the services (Kochakian, 2012).

It also entailed medical centers to handle patients to the extent one on release has recuperated fully, and can make informed decisions (Cassanego, 2010). The government in passing this act aimed at availing healthcare services to the public without first inquiring any pay especially during times of catastrophes (Cassanego, 2010).iii. Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act (2003) ratification created subsidized dispensing of drugs especially to the aging (Larsen & Lubkin, 2009).

Since, this category comprise of inactive populace whereby some may fail afford the pricey drugs (Larsen & Lubkin, 2009). Therefore, this enactment acted as enabler to them in accessing drugs at a considerable cost (Larsen & Lubkin, 2009). The Affordable Health Care Act’s reforms, thus far enjoyed by the natives encompass accessing medical coverage for individuals with pre-existing conditions (Murdock, 2012). Since, their earlier employers were reluctant in catering for their coverage, hence prompting them to incur immense expenses in managing their chronic illnesses (Murdock, 2012).

Besides, presently small enterprises are capable of catering for their employees’ insurance contrary to the earlier times where only those who worked in large corporations enjoyed healthcare benefits (Murdock, 2012). Hence, the reforms have heightened beyond 50% were as a health care administrator; I foresee more institutions availing adequate medical services without worrying about compensation. Since, almost more than 70% of the natives by 2014 will have insurance cover (Murdock, 2012).
