The United States of America is a country with people belonging from diverse cultural and racial sectors which provides as a reason for the twenty percent population of the country communicating in languages other than English in the environment of their home. To meet the health requirements of all the people residing in the United States, a very innovative measure was taken up by Thomson Reuters to update the system of Care Notes in 15 other languages apart from English and Spanish to make this service accessible to a large number of people.

Care Notes serve an essential purpose in patient education as it presents to them an in-depth understanding of their problems along with the guidelines that are required to be followed by them with regard to medications as well as other important instructions that need to be followed after they are discharged from the hospital. This can serve an important function by creating awareness amongst the patients and preventing them from wrong conceptions about their condition and thus they prevent mishaps.

Thus the accessibility of Care Notes in many languages, that a person can understand easily, can serve as an important step in health care and prove to be beneficial for the patients. It has served as a step to improving the quality of health services provided by the hospitals. It has not only proven beneficial for the patients but for the medical staff as well because they can convey their message in a more precise and clear manner.
