According to the discussion the brand name of the healthcare is also one of the essential aspects of consideration. The other prominent factor of marketing mix is the price. The healthcare organizations should follow a reasonable pricing process based on the specific treatments. Moreover, in order to sustain in this competitive environment, it should also maintain a competitive pricing strategy.From this study it is clear that in a service industry, the ‘process’, is the only way to obtain the services of the provider.

It involves the procedure of communicating the varied services so as to attract and create awareness among the customers. Thus, it shows that transmission of exact information at accurate time helps to enhance the customer satisfaction, corporate image, increase of customer response resulting in augmentation of the business prospects. Process includes the diverse tasks that are performed by the hospitals such as admission, diagnosis, and treatments by experts, results and discharges.  Finally, physical evidence is the other significant factor of healthcare marketing as the core benefit which a customer requests is apt diagnosis and heal of the problem.

Apart from these, the healthcare organizations should utilize appropriate and modern equipments and techniques to provide better services to the patients. Physical evidence of the hospital also includes the building design, symbol, and mascots.. The tangible products include beds, decors, medical equipments among others and the intangible products involve quality of medical services to the patients and medical education and training to the doctors to serve the patients in a better way. Apart from this, the brand name of the healthcare is also one of the essential aspects of consideration.

The other prominent factor of marketing mix is the price. The healthcare organizations should follow a reasonable pricing process based on the specific treatments. Moreover, in order to sustain in this competitive environment, it should also maintain a competitive pricing strategy. In case of hospitals, place or location plays a crucial role. Along with this, types of Medicare services offered by the hospital also play a vital part such as ‘The Mount Sinai Medical Center’ for cancer treatment is located at the heart of New York in the US rather than other hospitals (Mount Sinai Medical Center, 2012).

The next important factor is promotion, which is essential to make the customers aware about the services. It may include various ways such as word-of-mouth, advertisements or public promotions, print media such as newspapers, magazines and journals among others. Apart from this, many healthcare organizations also use hoardings and customer service relations to promote its various services. People or populace is the other imperative factor of service marketing mix. People of the healthcare organizations include all the internal staffs such as the doctors, nurses, supporting attendants, administration, catering and patients as well (Kotler & Armstrong, 2008).
