This essay seeks to answer various questions which dissect the ascot of global politics relative to democratization, political violence and multinationals. QUESTION ONE The aspect for democratization is attributed to governance and leadership of a nation. Democracy refers to the state where the power is vested on the people. This implies that the subjects have the express powers to make decisions that affect their lives. The powers vested on the people originate from the voting rights. In essence, democracy in any nation begins from the very simple obligation of respecting the voting rights. The respect accorded to the human rights explains the difference that exists between the democratic and non-democratic nations. The social, economic and political aspects are immensely attributed to the process of democratization (Paul, 22). In the case of non-democratic sates such as Qatar, Cuba and North Korea the issues of social, economic and political form the basis of governance wrangles which lead to lack of respect of the human rights and this situation eventually leads to non-democracy . The ever-ending desire for the resource acquisition and control over the economic bases in a nation makes some nations to adopt certain governance systems that are not democratic. Some of them include communism and socialism. The case of decline in non-democratic ways of governance is on the rise because of the international laws and aspects attributed to globalization. In essence, the international community has been in the forefront in agitating for democracy. It is decent for the subjects to be governed by individual whom they elect. In the 21st century, characterized by modernity, technology and globalization, people need to be free from the chains of dictatorship. There is need for democracy to all people across the globe (Paul, 23). Some of the possible benefits of democracy to the pole include participation in decision making and daily running of the affairs of the nations. For instance, in the event that, the president needs to change a clause such as that of presidential term, he is prohibited by the constitution and if such amendment must be done, then the issue is thrown to the public who will give their opinion through a public referendum. The democracy becomes a danger when those in power take advantage of the governance machinery to loot the public resources without the innocent not realizing of the bad impressions created. The best example of a democratic nation that has made positive stride under the democracy is the United States. In essence democracy benefits some nations by participation in making decisions while others suffer dictatorship and unequal distribution of resources. QUESTION TWO What is political violence? Revolution for instance is the popular action of mobilization that is accompanied by protests aimed at political transformation at a time of uncertainty as well as transition for the region (Jerome, 1). In essence, self interest is a virtue that liberalists encourage. On the other hand, the radicalisms believe that there is no need to self interest in a market that is across the global boundaries since one individual’s gain is another’s loss. Question three A state refers to a geographical landmass, which has internationally acknowledged boundaries, while immigrants refer to people who move from their own country of origin to a different country to stay for longer periods or on a temporary basis, due to acceptable reasons, they include among others refugees. This kind of movement may be because the migrants may be looking for political asylum, chaos and conflicts in their countries pushing them out of their regional boundaries etc. thus the country of settlement provides them with humanitarian assistance as per the regulations set by the international law. It is important to note that the sovereignty of a state faces multidimensional challenges owing to the population explosion of the immigrant people in a particular country. A clear illustration of this phenomenon is done using the United States as a reference point. Thus, this aspect of sovereignty can be analyzed from different viewpoints, which include crime, religious diversity education health, and change of leadership as well as environment. In the United States for instances evidence, suggest that a comparative investigation between Hispanic males and non-Hispanic males of African American descent in their mid twenties was conducted to the shock of many. The Hispanic males were found to have a higher probability of going to jail i.e. four times in their life as compared to the latter. Thus, some view this as a problem induced by immigration thereby compromising the state of autonomy of a country. Moreover, the education and health facilities of a nation become overstretched when the populations of immigrant reach exponential fractions leading to a strain of the government in providing them (Paul, 23). The United States foreign policy on immigration was passed to be accordance with the international requirements of human rights. The Reagan era of the 1980s oversaw this and as such, it came as a coincidence with the exodus of the Central Americans fleeing civil wars, subjugation and economic imbalances (Jerome, 1).
