Women are not only rape victims as clearly depicted in the prisons. In fact, 20% of men are also rape victims, which was not reported correctly. Rape has also occurred consistently but was never reported due to social conditions. When men rape other men, it is often to show aggression and the “macho man” mentality. As a matter of fact, 1% of males reported, in marriage, a frequency of anal sex ranging from a single attempt to often. Most men also reported having rough sex in 1953, which was shocking and often suggested that they like to show their power and aggression against other women are seemed to be sympathetic, inferior, and helpless. Kinsey estimated that nearly 46% of the male population had engaged in both heterosexual and homosexual activities. But only 11% of females reported that they had homosexual experiences. Obviously, these have drastically changed in the modern era.

One of the normal findings of this report was the traditional sexual norms that were also addressed. In essence, most men and women enjoyed having sex with the missionary position and foreplay. This is due to the fact that media and literature had to play an important role in influencing sex. As a matter of fact, the Kinsey interviews showed that there is no part of the human body that is not sufficiently sensitive to affect erotic arousal for at least some individuals in the population. Kinsey also estimated that breasts and especially the nipples of the breasts were erogenous zones. The sexual findings confirmed that most couples enjoyed sex as portrayed in media. Most couples considered sex outside of marriage as immoral and perceived it as the fulfillment of sexual desires.  Kinsey’s ethics however dictate that a sexual union is needed merely for self-preservation and procreation. His theory is based on a categorical imperative, which regards it as something necessary with some association to pleasure. The idea of gender, family studies and politics is imperative towards applying ethics especially in the 21st century in which same-sex marriage laws are taken into effect. A bad fact was the fact that Kinsey estimated that approximately 50% of all married males had some extramarital experience at some time during their married lives.

            A key criterion of sexuality that should not be dismissed is erotica. Erotica is unique in its own aspect because it combines violence, sexuality, pain, and pleasure all into one experience. For some individuals, engaging in erotica sex is a universal method of expressing violence and pleasure at the same time. One can say that banning a book is all dependent on people’s subjectivism and threshold of what they are capable of understanding.  The book was not banned because it confirmed the traditional notions of sexuality, gender, and race.
