Cultural and social beliefs on sexuality matters have always differed from legal provisions on the same topic. As a result, legal systems are known to provide for homosexuality amid social concerns and belief for heterosexuality. Discussions on this issue have exacerbated in the recent past, with powerful leaders such as Barack Obama, the President of the United States, airing his take on the matter.
