This topic brings about a number of issues such as the quality of corporate governance, which will be determined by individuals that are involved in this activity and the qualifications that they possess to handle this responsibility (Khalid, 2011). Corporate governance also deals with the internal and external factors with relation to the corporation structures in a bid to keep an eye on the directors and managers of the corporations to ensure that they carry out their activities in a manner that will not have a negative effect on the organization as a whole.

2. Research Questions
There are various questions that can be raised for the research of this topic in a bid to determine whether the hypothesis is able to stand on its own and valid evidence can be produced in support of it (Sun, 2009).

These have to do with the running of the corporation with regard to the methods used by the various individuals as well the managerial structures that exist within the organization (Crawford, 2007). Some of these questions include, whether the quality of corporate governance that exists within a firm has a direct influence on the profit levels that a business is able to maintain, do the individuals’ qualifications directly affect the success of their endeavors whilst dealing with corporate governance, is a company able to maintain successful operations without the presence of a corporate governance structure, does the size of a company affect the nature of corporate governance that exists in the business and how much of an influence do external parties hold over the corporate governance of a company (Aglietta & Reberioux, 2005).

Through the answering of these questions, one is able to establish the extent to which corporate governance has an effect on the profit margin of a company. 3. Data Required Answering Any One Question The data requirement will include both primary and secondary sources that are easily acquired from various areas such as libraries while the primary sources can be collected from conducting interviews with individuals that are in managerial positions within a corporation (Clarke & de la Rama, 2008).

The corporations studied should be sufficiently large meaning it should be an upcoming business and the variables to be accounted for include the nature of the market, competition, and financial power of the corporation studied. All these features have an impact on the success of the corporation and thus should be taken into consideration (Dignam & Lowry, 2006). In order to determine the answers to questions such as the first, third, and fourth one it is necessary to obtain information from three different companies in terms of corporate governance.

That is one company should have an established structure of corporate governance, a second should have a less strict form of governance while a third should have no corporate governance at all. The companies chosen should also differ in size with at least one being notably smaller than the rest. This is to ensure that all types of situations can be accurately observed.
