All these depend on the environmental aspects as well as the psychological status of the children. However, the issue of divorce always contributes massively in degrading the academic performances of children in various ways. It is of crucial significance to note that the issue of divorce contributes massively in distorting as well as disrupting the psychological status of the children. This is closely attributed to disruption of peace, concentration as well as precipitation of the feeling of depression and loneliness in children. However, it is of critical significance to note that children who do not receive adequate parental attention, care as well as parental love are always very much disturbed in life. Such children are always known to be trouble shooters in the society. The personalities as well as characters of such children are always very wanting. Moreover, such children always engage in drug as well as alcohol abuse in tender ages (Wallerstein, 1). These are some of the effects of divorce on the children. For instance, divorce causes parental detachment from the children. As such, due to divorce, the children always get inadequate parental love, care as well as parental attention.
