The development of human resources tends to provide the companies with a growth-oriented approach as well as a fast-changing and dynamic direction for the business. Human resource development helps the company ensure that the human resources of the company are skillful, knowledgeable, and with a good attitude. This helps the company in turn as it helps the organization become more dynamic as well as assists to have an enabling culture. Hence it is important to not only study human resource development but also focus on the impact and the effect of the training and development on the effectiveness and competitiveness of the organization as a whole.
This chapter aims at providing a basic overview of the study. The next section will deal with the objectives of the study.Each of these objectives has been developed based on the prior readings and literature review. The objectives have been designed to gain a better understanding of human resource development, i.e. training and development and its impact on the companies and the competitiveness of the companies. Here an attempt has been made to identify the impact of training and development and to recommend methods that the management can use to improve the overall competitiveness of the company.
This research involves a combination of both primary as well as secondary research. Here the study firstly touches upon the various literature that is available in this area of study. Following which quantitative research has been conducted with individuals from different companies in a random sampling method. The research instrument used here for this study is a survey questionnaire. The research analysis has been conducted using excel and all the results have clearly been presented by means of graphs and tables.
A total of 100 responses have been received for this study. The first chapter of the study will provide a complete overview of the research.
