Also, where there is smoke there is automatic heat that is being generated at this particular place. Therefore, it is due to this scenario that exists that makes it to have two different horizons in the case of fire. We have both the heat horizon and the smoke horizon (Casey, 2011). The heat horizon is the horizon where the intended function of any fire is found. It is where the energy is being generated. At this horizon its where all the activities and energies are being broken down to ensure that the intended results are obtained. On the other hand, the smoke horizons are where the broken energy is being generated to release the waste product to the air. The smoke horizon is just a combination of the released waste products that get out of the heat that breaks down the product that are under high heat. Evaluation of these horizons is a process that involves a lot of keenness. The evaluation will depend on what we seek to know about the horizons. What is contained at each horizon may be the best way of undertaking an evaluation of the two horizons. The two horizons usually have substances that are in a different nature making them to differ from one another. In fact in the heat horizon we see a lot of energy being released while on the smoke part is does not contain any energy rather some substances that are as a result of the breakdown of the heat. However, the amount of heat that will be produced at this horizon will depend on the type of substance that is contained at a given point. It is an important factor to understand that also the smoke part will contain substances that are related to the substance that has been broken down at the heat horizon. However, regardless of all these, there are several issues that can hinder the evaluation that will take place in this horizons (Fisher, 2012). It is difficult to determine the amount of heat that is being produced at different points leading and different substances. The substances that are being produced to the smoke horizon will depend with the environment that the heat horizon will be breaking down the burning substance. This mixing up of the air with the substance may lead to formation of different substances that may have long results at last. The evaluation may be disturbed due to the different environments that the whole process of heating to produce the two horizons is taking place. The evaluation process should be one that ensures that things are according to what is expected in the long run (Mozayani, 2012, pg. 12). Question Two Chain of evidence is the detailed investigation on how fire starts to the end of the whole [process. It can be said to be a forensic investigation of the whole process. However, the chain of evidence involves the process of fire from lighting to when it glows. What happened in between to ensure that everything that takes place is moving towards the right direction? The investigation will start depending on the nature and chemical of fire. So the chain of evidence will generally involve from the source of ignition where it may be due to a natural occurrence of the fire or where it has been started by an individual. There other points where a chemical process will be the source of heat to make the ignition. After knowing the ignition substance then we will move to the smoldering. Smoldering is the type of flame that is being produced in the process. It needs to be investigated if we have to know the type of flame that will be produced in the process hence giving us the evidence that we require in the process (Inman, 2001). To ensure that we have a complete evidence that has to establish the fire. At the first place we will have to establish the origin of the fire. Here what caused the fire is looked into to ensure that we know the reason that the fire came up. After knowing the origin then it is good to establish the cause of the fire. The cause of the fire is trying to establish what we will have at the end know what was the reason as to why the fire occurred. The reason as to why the fire came up and spread in such high speed. The after undertaking the two, it is good that we establish the evidence and analysis to establish safety measures in the near future (Daeid, 2005, pg. 4). Question 3 When there are two sources of fire in a room it is difficult to establish which one is the exact source of the fire? To hold an individual to be responsible of a criminal activity, it is mandatory that he is proven beyond reasonable doubts that he had committed a given crime. It is important that we should investigate well all the reasons as to why that particular fire occurred. When two sources of fire are in a room, it is important to note that one of the sources can be ignite the other. It is difficult to implicate somebody as the one who had caused fire in a room. Two sources of fire in a room can cause the unnecessary causes that at the end of the can cause damage in a building. Due to this, it is important two different sources have to be separated so that they cannot be excuses as to why a given fire is in the house (Saferstein, 2014). To hold someone responsible of Arsonist, it will be difficult to establish whether the he did it intentionally or it is because of the other sources. Establishing from scratch what the causes and origins of fire can prove to be a very hard task. However, the concentration that is placed on the investigation will be one of the best ways that will ensure that everything is right according to the results obtained (Ubelaker, 2013). The investigation will start depending on the nature and chemical of fire. So the chain of evidence will generally involve from the source of ignition where it may be due to a natural occurrence of the fire or where it has been started by an individual.
