Introduction Mineral water, as used in the contemporary society, simply refers to the bottled water. With the increasing demand for water, several manufacturers have come up with an idea of bottling soda or carbonated water so as to be used by those who are thirsty and require a small quantity of water to quench their thirsts especially while traveling, working in their offices or having their meals in the restaurant. Bottled water can also be used in the households by those who are interested in having a taste of it. On the other hand, recycled water is the water that is reused after initially being used for performing certain domestic, agricultural or commercial tasks. Whereas most of the bottled water is produced from fresh unused and pure waters, it can still be made from recycled water. This paper reports on the possibility of generating mineral water from recycled ones. It reports that it is much possible to recycle water from the household and use it for manufacturing mineral water which can be of great benefits to the people. Recycling Water Water is one of the natural resources with which humanity are endowed. With the climatic change and increasing world populations, it has indeed become a very scarce resource in different parts of the world. It is for this reason that it should be sparingly used without necessarily causing more harm to the environment. This means that a proper utilization of water can be important in achieving sustainable environmental conservation (Halaburka et al., 2013). The changes in climate have made it hard for water to be enough for everyone. Because of this, it is advisable to use water in a manner that can be of great benefit to everyone. Hence, a part from sustainably using it, it should be recycled. This will help in ensuring that the available water is not wasted, but properly used. Everyone needs water for life to continue. Therefore, all the naturally available ones should not be misused. However, for this to be effectively done there needs to be adequate measures to safeguard the use of the available water. Although water comes from different sources, deliberate steps should be taken to ensure that it is properly used. There have been cases in which water has either been misused or mismanaged. This has greatly impacted on individuals and the environment in totality. Manufacturing Eco-Friendly Mineral Water Mineral water is quite advantageous to human beings. Since its inception, it has greatly benefited people. First, it has been helpful in availing fresh and pure water which is free from contamination. This has been possible as it has been made in water plants which are approved and up to standard. Meaning, the mineral waters being supplied in the market are of high quality and can not transmit any water borne diseases such as cholera and dysentery. Besides, it has been helpful to people who are interested in having high quality water especially when traveling or out of their respective homes. This has been much possible as this water is put in small portable bottles which can be carried along (Valerie, 2005). Based on this argument, this paper concurs that it is much possible to manufacture mineral water. If proper technologies are applied, it will be much possible for anyone to produce high quality water which can be consumed. The only thing that needs to be done when manufacturing bottle water is to avail all the necessary facilities. Besides, there needs to be skills which can be applied in the purification and treatment of water. This is necessary since it can be used to remove any impurity that might make water unsafe and unhygienic for human consumption. Meanwhile, rather than relying on unused water, it is much possible to use recycled water to manufacture bottled water. This can be sustainable and environmental friendly. Possibility of Manufacturing Eco-Friendly Mineral Water Using Recycled Water It is evidenced that there is a possibility in manufacturing eco-friendly mineral water. As already hinted, this can be made possible by sustainably utilizing the available water. Being eco-friendly implies that the manufactured water has the ability to contribute to environmental conservation. Indeed, water is a very precious resource which should not be wasted. It is advisable to sustainably utilize water because if this happens, a lot of benefits would be accrued. Therefore, this report acknowledges that it is much possible to produce mineral water using recycled water. This can be done by obtaining water in the following ways: i. Reclaiming Rain Water The reclamation of rain water is one of the ways through which water can be effectively recycled. It is the process of trapping rain water which might have been wasted. This can be done in several ways. First, gutters can be put at the roofs to help in trapping rain water that are collected from the roof. Besides, it can be done by installing rain barrels which are then used to collect waters from the rain (Bischel, H.N. et al., 2013). Once this water has been reclaimed, they can be channeled to the tank from which they are subjected to a series of treatments and purifications before eventually bottled for consumption. If these are perfectly done, the bottled water produced will become very healthy for human use. ii. Recycling Grey and Black Water This is another way through which water can be recycled. These are a category of waste water which do not necessary pass through the sewerage system. In every household, water is needed for cooking, drinking, washing of utensils and mopping the house. Unfortunately, whenever each of these happens, a lot of remnant or used water is lost. However, in order to avoid such wastages, stern measures can be taken. This can be achieved by ensuring that the water is recycled and made available for use. One of the ways of recycling such water is through the installation of a well designed grey water system. If successfully done, enough water can be attained and used for manufacturing bottled water. Furthermore, it is can be safer for drinking and can not harm anyone if consumed. iii. Recycling Water from the Kitchen and Bathroom As a matter of fact, in every household, a lot of water is used in the kitchen and the bathroom. Coincidentally, these are the areas in which a large volume of water is wasted. Therefore, in order to eradicate such wastages, deliberate measures should be taken such as placing the colander over the pot; and installing shower buckets (LaMoreaux & Tanner, 2001). This can be instrumental in aiding in the collection of water while washing hands, clothes and utensils. After the collection of the water, thy can as well be filtered, strained, sterilized, treated and purified before being bottled for consumption. Benefits of Recycled Mineral Water It is a good idea to recycle water and bottle it for human consumption because such water has several benefits. First, it is environmental friendly and can contribute to the sustainable conservation of the environment. Once the available water is sustainably utilized, it can be helpful in preventing further wastages. This can greatly benefit human beings, plants, animals, environment and the biodiversity in totality. Excessive consumption of water can be a contributing factor to environmental pollutions. Thus, this is how it can be avoided (York, D. et al., 2008). Conclusion Water is a precious, but rare commodity which should be properly utilized. With the invention of mineral water, it has become much easier for everyone to acquire cheaper and nutritious water wherever they are. On the other hand, for water to be effectively used, it can be recycled. For this reason, this paper recommends that it is much possibly to manufacture environmental friendly mineral water using the water from recycled sources. Bibliography Bischel, H.N. et al.
