Ways in Which a Single Displinary Perspective Limits Our Understanding of Managing Climate Changes and Its Significance to the Nation Course Date Introduction Generally, different disciplines use various types of evidences to explain the different causes of weather changes, and measures taken in managing climate transformation. Decisions made by the populace to either stay with their valued properties or walk away to safer destinations depending on climate changes; sorely depends on the different understandings and beliefs towards the weather changes (Krznaric, 2007, 35). Disciplines such as economics portray on quantitative fields like statics to explain various patterns of weather changes and future expected results. Others rely on geopolitical incidents or international relations in relation to weather changes over the past incidents to make their future decisions. Therefore, various disciplines need to join hands and work together to know what the causes of the incidents. Possible climate change risks Climate changes pose a serious risk to global development. Changes in climate influence investment make the region consider mitigation or adaptation to ensure continuity in growth. Diverse investments thrive best in different weather conditions and factors of possible weather changes should be considered depending on the kind of investment to be made; therefore, wise decisions ought to be made (Krznaric, 2007, 89). This is only achievable with information from various disciplines combined to reach a common decision. Climate changes are likely to affect the social and economic future. Adverse worse changes are likely to cause immense losses to the nation and affect people individually. Heavy rainfall may cause the ground to weaken leading to landslides. This may result to damage of the agricultural land and the loss of individuals. It may be beneficial in the sense that the land may not be weakened leading to a landslide, but instead the water from the heavy rainfall will be used to enhance agricultural productivity in the country. Underestimating the issue of climate changes affects us to date in the agricultural sector. At dreadful situations, the weather changes that were noted to occur and no one bothered to take measures about it happens, the external cost will be damaged many other people are also affected by those environmental changes that were not taken count to by the firms, the agencies or the consumer whose decision is to produce them (Krznaric, 2007, 55). The cost undertaken is much expensive as compared to if the problem once noted was solved. The ignorance of such small issue could result to a huge mountain in the future and thus why education should be taught nation wide pertaining the climate changes. Global climate change Global climate change is a major threat in many countries. Adverse climate changes that can damage the ozone layer posses a great threat to humanities. This is because damage of the ozone layer will affect the agricultural produce; gases emulsion will affect human, hence, leading to even deaths. Education on such a delicate issue should be spread. People should be taught in different measures to handle various climate changes and things to avoid that may lead to the changes (Krznaric, 2007, 78). Different knowledge from various sources should be used together to gather enough knowledge on issues pertaining weather changes. Technological future Technological future is also affected by climate. If people continue producing machines that emit carbon to the atmosphere then at one point, the gas will have accumulated. Hence, it will result to obliteration of the ozone layer, and affect humans in a negative way. Solving this issues and allowing the industries to produce gadgets that release less carbon to the atmosphere than the ones producing it would end a great tragedy that is being passed in the future. Various general methods of managing climate changes Climate can be managed in many different ways. This is either the mitigation way or adapting to it (Krznaric, 2007, 124). Mitigation is a method of reducing emulsion of carbon gases to the atmosphere, while the term adopting is adjusting human natural system and the way of life to expected future climate effects, which can be either harmful or helpful to human. Mitigation reduces the rate of magnitude of global warming. Adaptation is much required since they are changes that had occurred. Adaptation is much urgent for risk already being experienced by those sensitive to change. On the other hand, mitigation should be still considered so that changes that have already occurred are stopped before they get to the point of being irreparable. Harmful weather changes will occur that may affect human and its surroundings negatively if not considered. Transparency Climate changes management is important for nation development. One major method that the government should take is to pass awareness to its people on issues related to weather changes. People should be transparency in the sense that everybody involved in any activity is aware of the possible costs of risks. Information on the trade off uncertainties associated with weather and policies should be communicated openly. People should be willing to avoid behaviors that will affect the country climatic condition or economy in a negative manner. Maximize conservation The government should create an organization that will encourage on the issue of energy efficiency and conservation (Krznaric, 2007, 98). They ought to edify the society on the significance of maximizing conservation and keep on reminding them. The consumers should be willing to listen to the letter and adhere to what is told of them. They ought to be prepared to be committed to behaviors and decisions that minimize carbon emission. Energy securities Developments with low non-carbon energy sources should be accelerated. Carbon emission is a key thing that leads to weather changes. It has the effect of damaging the ozone layer; thus, emission of carbon should be minimized if not put to an end completely to minimize the release of the gas to the surrounding (Krznaric, 2007, 103). Therefore, any upcoming development that is capable of sustaining the world’s energy needs and with limited use to carbon or completely not associated with carbon use should be hastened. Broad and fair treatment All economy sectors should be treated equally by the government. This will assist to ensure that no organization is forcefully and unlawfully undermined and policies that foster equality should be implement to all. Different disciplines on climate management Climate changes impacts, risks, and benefits of trying to stop the release of carbon There is Uncertainties of the future expectations, and as for the roughly estimation the loss to be incurred by the nation is considered very huge and thus the nation would save much by curbing the mess before it occurs. The damage in the future can be severe and difficult to solve. Extreme weather conditions are likely to be occurring in the future if mitigation is not done early (Krznaric, 2007, 74). This could be even worse since human has no power over weather changes and thus the damage would not be preventable but beyond repairable measures. More and worse threats are posed to occur to the nation if no step is taken regarding to that issue. Various different disciplines in relation to climate changes Economic theory or statics; for example, the gross domestic product (GDP) game theory, public goods, private goods, free riding. All assumed that the countries aim at maximizing their own profit or benefit whereas international relations theories assumed that countries want to maximize their power as well, not only their income. Therefore, there is the building blocks theory and other theories in the readings. Hence, a combination of economics and International relation is needed to understand the situation fully. The history of the earth climate should not be left behind. It shows the past climates conditions over the last many years and continues to show how gradually they have been changing. It could be used to try to find out the possible gradual changes that may occur along with other books. Furthermore, it may assist in predicting the future outcomes depending on the pattern and the changes that had occurred. The geographical nature of the countries that show different phenomenon occurrences also talks about the missionaries and the Africans’ past interrelations that could help find answers to some changes that occurred in the past. Nationalism The use of statistical data alone is not sufficient to demonstrate or access how loyal people are towards the nation. Various researches should also be carried out concerning the issue. It shows that although the numbers show that there is an increase of very large number of neutralization ceremonies (Krznaric, 2007, 46). People actually react passionately to their nationality; hence, statistics alone are not enough. Anthropology can help people understand the reasoning and rationale of the populace. Climate changes are serious issues to a nation since it affects the security, agricultural products, health, finance, gender and many other important issues to the nation. It could result to political instability that eventually would lead to problems such as terrorism or transnational crimes. The issue of climate changes should be handled seriously within the nation. People should learn to avoid the issue that will result to problem simply because of climate changes and adapt to deeds that will result to beneficial issues in their nation. Conclusion One should not limit his or her understanding of climate changes to one disciplinary since changes in climate are affected by various factors that are displayed in different disciplinary. The nation at large should be conscious of the changes and to inform its members for unity in the steps required of them, either beneficially to the changes or ways to their adaptation of what is to happen. People should learn to watch their actions that will result to good weather management and utilization rather than to destroy the environment. Mitigation should then be practiced to curb the harmful effects of carbon that could result in the near future. People should be made aware to learn the results of weather changes to practice measure that will cause no harm to them. Therefore, combination of different disciplinary and among members in the nation will result to better management of climate changes. Bibliography KRZNARIC, R. (2007).
