Extract of sample "Waste Pollution"

Wastes such as construction materials should either be recycled or reused to minimize adverse environmental effects. Most of the household wastes are biodegradable hence used as manure in farms to increase food production. On the other hand, to keep green, we should buy prefabricated homes, which are not prone to damage. Keeping green and avoiding or controlling construction wastes requires architects to design buildings that are durable and adaptable. Fewer materials should be used (Walker 12).

Comprehensive waste control approach should entail the 3Rs namely the reduction, reuse and recycling of used commodities (Morgan 25). Overall, households and businesses should aim to minimize adverse ecological footprints.
