Extract of sample "Human Activity - the Cause of Global Warming"

All human activities are raising the temperature of the world. But researchers say that the burning of fossil fuels does not affect much, it contributes only 18% of the total. Change in Land-usage: Due to increased population, agricultural exploitation and deforestation have occurred in order to meet the increasing shelter and food demands. Increase in constructions of buildings for commercial projects, industries, for the cultivation of crops like rice, are constantly increasing the Earth's temperature.

Green House Gases: Human activity especially industrial revolution has altered the chemical composition of the atmosphere through the buildup of greenhouse gases which is the main cause of global warming. Constant use of fossil fuels in daily routine; clearing of natural meadows and forests for constructing purposes; production of foodstuff through industry and agriculture; production of artificial products like fertilizers, chemicals, cosmetics, ceramics, all to meet the ever-increasing demands of the human population.
