Extract of sample "Nhan Hoa Comprehensive Healthcare Clinic"

Free services are being offered primarily to Vietnamese residents who want to overcome smoking. However, they also offer their services in other languages such as Korean, Spanish and of course, English. The Healthcare Clinic has a particular focus on the Vietnamese group.

Nhan Hoa Comprehensive Health Clinic is a non-profit organization managed by a team of medical professionals trained to handle tobacco cessation cases and programs. The Board of Directors and most of its staff are also familiar with the cultural distinctiveness of the particular group that the clinic primarily caters to.

Nhan Hoa is a medium-sized, full-service clinic. The main thrust is to educate people and conduct programs geared towards tobacco use termination and general education on the harmful effects of smoking to smokers and non-smokers alike, with a particular focus on Asian and other groups who have the needeth care at affordable rates. However, although this is their main goal, the clinic also offers general medical services such as checkups, pre-employment examinations, vaccination and other medical laboratory services. The support teams are made up of young people, obviously at the prime of their careers, and are ready to perform services even outside the scope of their primary responsibilities. The people seem to be more than willing to assist their clients, particularly because there is no cultural barrier to worry about.

General medical services such as checkups, laboratory examinations and administration of vaccines are being provided daily. Clients are made up of residents mostly of Asian descent. They also have Pediatric and Women's Health Care services and even a Dental Team to provide the appropriate medical care to its clients.

A particular highlight is given on their Health Education services, through which various programs are offered for free. The focus is on helping smokers quit by providing information on its effects. Take note that the services are free, and can therefore be availed of through the hotline numbers. These programs are not only for the smokers themselves but for their support groups as well, to the services and be able to further help the patient activate his goal to stop.

We are a non-profit organization, and we want to be able to encourage our niche market to come to us for their healthcare needs. We want to be able to encourage as many Vietnamese, Chinese, Koreans and Asians who have particular needs for affordable health care to know about our clinic and come to us for assistance.

Out Health Education Programs, on the other hand, aim to educate and influence smokers in the area. We want to help reduce the statistics, and to say that we are a strong driving force towards promoting excellent health conditions for the Vietnamese population/ community.

Because of our continuous efforts to cater to the particular community that we want to serve, we have the full support of various foundations in the state and county, and even of private groups that share the common goal to offer health care to indigents living in the area. Having affirmed our dedication to the craft, and our resolve to fight against tobacco use, we have earned allies in the person of these foundations who ensure that the clinic is well equipped and well supported, and the staff receive updated training in particular fields they are into.

The board of directors and management ensure that the staff are always updated by sending them off to seminars and conventions to help equip them with the necessary tools to carry out their duties.

The staff is highly qualified, having been educated in their particulields of expertise, with the license to support such practice. Everyone in the team has passed all the necessary state board examinations, is highly qualified for their job, and has sufficient experience

Nonprofit organizations have their own mission/ion. On top of providing only the best healthcare services, they also have this distinct goal to serve a particular niche market that has distinct and special needs as well. One of the challenges is that being nonprofit; it greatly needs the support of other groups sharing the same mission. Being in a nonprofit organization adds up to the responsibility of being a health care provider, and people who are involved in this type of organization are practising a vocation even nobler than that of a regular medical practitioner.
