I recently learned about the position of Administrative Assistant, at Global Quality & Assurance, and would like to be considered for this position. As your company requires an experience in office administration, I believe I am a strong candidate for the position.

I am aware that Starbucks conducts business both locally and overseas. Also, I know that the company prides itself in providing exceptional customer service to make each visit satisfying. I feel that the administrative and customer relations skills I have acquired from my work experiences will allow me to become an asset to your company.

As you can see from my resume, I am adept in, among others, working independently, communicating in both oral and written form, delivering excellent customer service, working with a team, and handling confidential information.

At your most convenient time, I would appreciate an appointment with you to further discuss how my skills could be a plus for Starbucks. Thank you for your time.

Google's People Operations roles are focused on redefining “human resources” and preserving Google's unique culture in the way we attract, hire, develop and reward talented people.

Google was formally started by Larry Page and Sergey Brin in September 1998 at a garage in Menlo Park, California. It was the “search engine of choice” in the Top 100 Web Sites for 1998 (Our, n.d.). In May 2000, Google was released in French, German, Italian, Swedish, Finnish, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Norwegian, and Danish. In March 2004, Google moves into its home, “Googleplex”, with its 800+ employees. From being a search engine, Google has since provided an image search, a blog search, document storage, mobile access, online translator, alerts, and more. It has also ventured into providing business tools for entrepreneurs. As of date, Google has 70+ offices in more than 40 countries worldwide. Every Google office is unique from the others but commonly has video games, pool tables, pianos, cafes, and “micro kitchens” with healthy food.

I would like to apply for an internship under the Building Opportunities for Leadership & Development (BOLD) Diversity Internship Program for Summer 2013. Specifically, I would like to apply for an administrative internship with Google’s People Operations.

My academic life as well as my work experiences have greatly been influenced by Google. Learning how the company has developed through the years has inspired me to become a part of such a vibrant workplace. As I have already had experience in the workplace because of my part-time jobs, I feel I have acquired the necessary skills and mindset to be immersed in a much bigger and more diverse working environment.

As you can see from my resume, I am adept in, among others, working independently, communicating in both oral and written form, delivering excellent customer service, and working with a team.

At your most convenient time, I would appreciate an appointment with you to further discuss how I could be an efficient intern for Google. Thank you for your time.
