Assignment Meeting people helps an individual to inculcate new values and habits within his lifestyle, because it gives him a new array of ideas to choose from and believe in new things, subsequently. It is important to be able to accept new ideas and thoughts in order for a person to succeed and move forward in life. Living alone in college, in a hostel, helps a person to understand the value of family members even more because staying away from relatives helps one realise their true importance. Personally, I was able to go back home after a period of eight months for the first time after joining college and meeting everyone seemed almost alien at first. However with time, I was able to comprehend that every member was able to put forth new ideas to the table and speak to one another on a different wavelength altogether. Meeting my uncle was extremely different than what I had imagined; earlier, he would think of me as a young child waiting to take up a particular path in terms of my career and job prospects. Till high school, I was thought of as a young individual with not much maturity and a great deal of life to still be seen. However, this time, things were different because my uncle was able to speak to me at a parallel level rather than a level bespeaking a different era. I was able to let him know my plans for the future and at the same time, we were able to discuss the various economic prospects within the world at present, as well as how different countries place importance on entrepreneurship and self help. He made a great impact on me as he spoke about the best marketing strategies that America possessed and how it taught its business students to think differently and uniquely. The idea, according to him, is to create a need among society rather than even having to identify what the need is. Entrepreneurship is rampant in various forms around the world; I was able to take in all the information as I racked my brains and thought about the various ways in which I could contribute to the conversation. The topic led to the demise of Steve Jobs and how the man was able to create an entire empire of technology single-handedly and leave the world a legacy of his own. Branding and marketing are the key aspects to selling any product, may it be a simple tool for daily purposes or a high end smart phone. My uncle in this manner was able to make a very strong impression on me by helping me understand how it is my job to do something for the welfare of the people by identifying their needs and demands to be able to cater to society in a better way. He further explained to me the various ways in which he was leading a microfinance company in order to rule out the intermediaries within small villages and among rural people. This is also a method of providing entrepreneurial help for the poor and needy and is extremely beneficial to those who need and are not able to have. Thus, this inspired me and helped me come to a conclusion that I must be able to choose a path where I am able to cater to the needs and wants of society, but at the same time, be able to reach the lower rungs as well; because the higher rungs can take care of themselves too. I was able to gather all the information and talk about the situation in countries like India and China where something needs to be done about the human capital. This is because of the population explosion taking place in both these countries, and how something can be done to utilise the human capital properly instead of letting the billion plus go waste. Population explosion has taken over the entire world with the number of people increasing with each passing day; in the past, during the Industrial Revolution, this explosion was felt when people were replaced by machines and tools in order to get the job done quicker and more efficiently, and this resulted in an outlaw of the people who were left unemployed. Today, the economic cycle is a vicious one, warping the various aspects of growth and development within it, as it progresses and spreads all over the world. However, the challenges faced by Asia under the purview of economic development are far more than what the world at large is going through, mainly because of the rampant labour and workforce present in countries like India and China.  Thus, a major issue that the continent is facing is working with the human capital that it possesses, and channelling the force and energy of market labour into fruitful dimensions for the betterment and welfare of the economy. The people present need to be used to their best potential and abilities because as the era of entrepreneurship dawns, it has become imperative to squeeze out the best possible talent from each person for the whole of society. The main problem, therefore, remains countering the vast population that persists, and finding ways to hold on to the excess and rising numbers of people.  In conclusion, this rendezvous was extremely refreshing for my senses because it helped me to analyse and understand how important it is to listen, look and feel what is being said within a conversation, to be able to taste the surrounding and finally touch a person’s life by doing something good and making an impact on them so that they in turn are able to spread awareness and goodness within society. Furthermore, on meeting my uncle after a long time, I was able to form another impression of him and this time, I was able to understand him better from a business point of view and understand what he had to tell me. It was indeed an exciting session where I was able to exchange ideas with him and probably change his impression of me as well, by being able to provide the knowledge and understanding I possess.
