In his writing, he mixed the excitement of the festival with a fishing trip. His writing through the use of description to show the characterization became so famous because it could demonstrate well the iceberg Theorem. In addition, the novel is built on real peoples life. He demonstrated how the real life of lost generation had been changed by the Second World War. In his setting, he emphasizes on world love, nature, death, how masculinity is taken in the real world, and some other themes discussed later in this paper (Hemingway 113).
On the part of gender, one of the characters in the novel is Jake. Jake feels that homosexuality is one of the worst things his ears have ever heard of. However, he does not engage in sex with women, and he is less of a man. On the other hand, Romeo represents a character with the lot of masculinity. However, Hemingway misidentifies gender by his work on the depiction of men and boyish females (Hemingway 125). FromJake, every reader should learn that self-determination is an important aspect of life.
To achieve this, the person must first have to adopt his self-esteem and self-freedom. The character takes self-freedom as the start of his self-empowerment. Miller Ernest Hemingway is an American author born in July 21st, 1899. He used to combine his work of writing books with the journalist that he did it professionally all through his life. He lived between the years 1899 to the year 1961. Most of his writing was done in the year 1920 and 1950. In his writing career, he won a Nobel Prize for literature in 1954.
All through his writing career, he managed to publish several short stories, seven novels, and two non-fiction writing work. He always emphasized his writing work on classic American literature. Ernest Hemingway was born in Illinois State in the place called Oak Park. He left the city to Italy to train for the First World War ambulance drivers. Later he returned America due to some injuries during his training.
