Refusal Business Letter Harrington home 921 Daisy Lane Churchill MO 61516 Attention: Luke Harrington Refusal for a refund I am sorry to inform you that the four Douglas Fir trees that died cannot be refunded. It is unfortunate that the trees did not make it grow in the wet marshy garden. We agreed to guarantee your transplant fully for three years but under specific conditions. For your case, we earlier on warned you of the tree not being able to grow in a wet, marshy soil, but instead it requires well-drained soil.

We gave you an alternative of planting balsam fir instead in the wet soil. It has the same shape as the one of Douglas fir. However, u insisted on the Douglas fir and even signed a contract of agreement that you will take full responsibility for the outcome. On the other hand, the tree died of root rot due to poor soil. It is to the obligation of the farmer to take full responsibility of the required conditions for a transplant. We only cover for the unexplained death of a tree, or the tree failing to grow due to our mistakes.

You are one of our most treasured customers, and we are sincerely sorry for the loss. We suggest take the balsam far and try it with the guided instructions that we will offer. We pledge that you understand our position. In case of any other complaint, we will appreciate hearing from you.Thank you for being so understanding. Yours truly, Fields Landscape ownerSign
