It requires a solid foundation in natural sciences such as chemistry and physics as well as life sciences such as biology, and biochemistry which explains why it covers a lot of application. Taking the course however is rewarding because of the many fields that one can practice the profession. It is not only limited to engineering but also includes various fields from engineering, economics to business that many of top executives today have chemical engineering as their academic background because of the many applications of the course in the professional field.
If one wants to be useful and contribute more to society, chemical engineering is the right course for one to take.
