len uses a fusionof a mastery of the formal lyricism with a passionate involvement with themes social, religious, racial, and personal basis (Eliot 17). This is seen in his books by the names: Color, The Black Christ, Copper Sun. A number of poems written by him such as “Heritage,” and “Yet Do I Marvel” are highly popular. On of the ways through which poems affect huan beings socially is the manner in which they can influence the way people view the influence of the family. The poetsdiscussd in this article seem to depict parental advisory to come based on the experiences that parents would have had in their early life from both education and work.

This poet is popular for his use of symbolism. This book gives a critical analysis of works by a number of poets in between 1925 and 1976. e.e Cummings is one of the poets whose works have been discussed in this book. The book describes Cummings as a poet who had popularity in writing poems the traditional way. This is evident in a good number of his poems. A good number of his poems are sonnets though occasionally fussed with some aspects of modern poetry. Most of his poems reflect on the relationship of individuals with the people in their environments.

The book also reflects on how Cummings wrote poems about nature and love. In his work he does not apear to pay much attention to rhythm. However, the book asserts that he is well known for the manner in which he extensively makes use of symbolism in his works (Alexander 65). His works are well known for their aspects of high intelligence and prudence. The book focuses on some of the critical aspects of his poetry, offering an in-depth analysis of his use of a diverse range of stylistic devices.

He views family life to be of high importance in inspiring young people. In his works he gives the impression that parents advise young people in a manner in which is likely to give them hope for a better tomorrow. This comes when they are aware of the high
