INVESTIGATIVE REPORT Partnering group Re: Qualities needed for a successful business Physical attractiveness is the degree to which physical traits of something or somebody are considered aesthetically pleasing or beautiful. Succession in business is mostly brought about by its attractiveness to customers from certain industries or business departments. Location factors and attractiveness of a business is a diverse and large literature and has resulted to more business investments. Even in countrywide, attractiveness for international investments is a basic priority.

Also, most countries invest best on tourists because of attractive scenarios available in their country (Christoph et. al 10-12). I had the opportunity to visit a famous bar called Le Baron Bouge, located next to d’Aligre Market at Paris in France. This bar is the quintessential wine bar that everyone dreams of discovering in Paris. This is a place everyone in the hip Aligre “quartier” gathers for a wines’ glass, a dish of saucissons and from ages, or pack oysters in season. The bar has very attractive giant oak barrels, gleaming bar, and racks of fine wines.

It buzzes at all time of the day and night. I paid a visit at Le Baron Bouge during lunch time and found that it was filled with market dealers and purchasers from the nearby food and flea market. Because of its attracting features, customers do not feel like leaving the bar. This makes them spend more thus bring a lot of income and profit to the bar. Beautiful plastic tables and chairs make the customers feel comfortable while relaxing. They are well spaced apart here which is nice such that no one is on top of the other.

The décor is pleasant and has a pure art deco feel. The staff is good and friendly and they are welcoming to tourists even though they some time depart early. The huge wine selection makes the bar be always busy. I also got another chance to visit the place during evening hours. If found that the bar has a great spot for a light supper. It menu is limited but provides the best nutriment to accompany a good pitcher of wine. It includes foods like cured sausages, cheese and pickles, crusty breads, etc.

The bar includes a well ventilated section where smokers are allowed to smoke without affecting other customers in the bar. The bar has also become popular with tourists, which means lower quality and attention, since many is one-time customers, who anyway will see the place as a typical Paris bistro. The atmosphere of the bar is very attracting and exciting. The bar tries to increase its market share to particular markets at national level and to penetrate in the same markets at France. The enforcement of its tourism economy based on the successful attraction of these objective markets and the total pleasure of their needs and perceptions.

From the research, I saw a slight problem experienced in the bar. Customers sometimes complain of very expensive drinks. The managers try their best to reduce the cost so as to maintain more customers and also have a profit from that.In conclusion, attractiveness means a great issue when starting a business. There should be attracting utilities that will attract customers to come in large quantities because the more they come, the more you earn. The attracting features of Le Baron Bouge make it have more customers’ especially local people around and tourists from different countries who come to enjoy their drinks and beauty in the bar.

From my research, this bar gives a good example and idea on how and what will be required to start a business to make it more successful. Works citedChristoph Teller, et. al. Place Marketing and urban retail agglomerations: an examination of shoppers place attractiveness perceptions. pp 10-12, 1999. Print.
