Mode of communication with them
Engage them in the research: When I engage people in any research, they will be able to learn more and get an in-depth understanding of what is being talked about (Best, 28-31) for example asking them to visit areas of research is important in that they will be able to know how these substances are produced, how wastes are eliminated and how they result to environmental pollution.

Public lectures: I will conduct public lectures on the causes and effects of environmental pollution on people. Knowing its causes and effort, people will be able to take various initiatives of control and avoidance.
Distributing leaflets: These leaflets will be able to communicate to a wide scope of the population on various issues concerning the environment and also educate them on control and prevention measures of environmental pollution.
Information that the audience need and why they need such
People need to know about various forms of environmental pollution, their causes, and their effects.

Forms of pollution include;

Air pollution- is caused by the release of chemicals such as nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and sulfur among others that are produced by industries and motor vehicles into the atmosphere.
Noise pollution- resulted from industrial noise, roadway noise, and high-intensity of solar and aircraft noise.
Soil contamination- is caused by chemicals that are released by underground leakages or spills, most common are heavy metals e.g. cadmium and chromium, chlorinated hydrocarbons, lead, arsenic, and zinc (Rana, 67-69).

Light pollution-includes astronomical interference, light trespass, and over-illumination
Thermal pollution- this is when temperature changes in standard water bodies as a result of human influence for example using water as a coolant in factories.
Littering- throwing unnecessarily man-made substances, onto private and public properties.
Water pollution- this is caused by wastewater discharge from industrial and commercial waste into clean water.
Pollution can also result from natural calamities such as petrochemicals leaks from broken boats and hurricane leads that often include water pollution from sewage.

Effects

Human health effects
Air pollution can result in the death of many organisms inclusive of human beings. Ozone pollution causes throat inflammation, respiratory diseases, chest pain, cardiovascular disease, and congestion. Approximately 14,000 people die each day from drinking contaminated water (Plettenberg, 143-147). Moreover, skin rashes and irritations which are caused by oil spills are also a considerable human health effect.

Hearing loss and sleep disturbance may also result from noise pollution whereas neurologic symptoms and developmental deficits in children may result from exposing our body system to mercury. Older people with lung or heart disorders, infants, young children, and expectant mothers are at a greater risk of exposure to diseases resulting from environmental pollution.

Environmental effects
Ocean acidification is one of the environmental pollutants resulting from carbon dioxide emissions. This gas together with other greenhouse gases also causes global warming hence affecting the general ecosystem in many different ways. Nitrogen oxides that are removed from the air by rain can cause changes in the composition of species ecosystems. Haze and smog reduce the sunlight amount received by floras to carry out photosynthesis which leads to the production of tropospheric ozone that causes damage to plants. Read More
