The second clause, ‘there are features’ emphasizes the fact that the roads are features. The third clause, ‘such as road humps, chicanes and narrowing’ elaborates on the features by providing examples. The final clause ‘which are intended to slow you down’ completes the sentence which then adds meaning to it.

Conjunction has also been applied in the sentence. ‘Take extra care on country roads and reduce your speed at approaches to bends, which can be sharper than they appear. ‘And’ is the conjunction used to provide flow and connection of clauses in the sentence.
