Number Bowling for Columbine In film bowling for Columbine by Michael Moore, the use of guns is connected to violence. The main argument by Moore is the fact that the Americans are usually afraid of each other, this is what leads to the use of gun to show violence in comparison to other nations whereby the use of guns is limited in day to day operations. The intended audience of this film is people who are against the use of guns and most importantly people who advocate for gun control and safety.
Michael Moore stirs up the query regarding the stage when young people engage themselves in violent activities and the person who should be blamed for these activities. This movie adheres to a rhetorical format that uses heavy application of pathos, logos abs ethos to create Moore’s message of a happy American, several methods of persuasion are also employed. Incredibility is one of these methods that are used in the entire movie via giving an interview to both sides, by this she shows that he has interest in solving the issue of gun use by having all the facts at hand.
The other technique is authority; he does this by interviewing people who are leaders at various places.
